The first impression when we got there was that we were at the wrong place. The entrance is beautiful but since there wasn’t anyone there it felt strange. But our host had left me a message with check in video instructions. The room and the dining room was so beautifully decorated. We had a great and restful night. The breakfast was delicious. And we such a wonderful view of the full moon.

The Parque do Rio Hotel built in the year 72 is situated in the Ophir pine forest, between the Cávado River and the protected coastline. It features 2 outdoor swimming pools and sun loungers. Very charming '60 - '70 style hotel with a nice breakfast buffet and a large, clean swimmingpool. Good restaurants within walking distance.
