Located opposite the beautiful Kai Iwi Lakes, "The Lakes" retreat features an 9 seater movie theatre and a lakeside gazebo with hot tub. Guests have access to a patio with BBQ. Very chilled and relaxing accommodation and area. Enjoyed all 3 lakes. Excellent for swimming and utilised the bicycles, kayaks and hot tub. Strongly recommended.

Situated on the Waitangi River with spectacular views of Haruru Falls, this family friendly resort features a children’s playground. Honestly everything about this place was wonderful and all I mean ALL the staff were so friendly and helpful. Waking up to the falls every morning was absolute bliss. Paihia just literally 5 minutes up the road so close for convenience and yet far enough away to miss all the crowds.

This 4 star, resort is located on the Karikari peninsula in Northland, New Zealand. It is situated on 3000 acres and includes a farm, a vineyard, and a 4 km long white-sand coastline. I really loved my stay here. The view from my room (number 5) was just breathtaking. The bed was really comfortable as well. Every person from staff I encountered was so sweet and helpful. The food from de restaurant was really nice as well (if you are into green lip mussels, definitely don’t skip out on those).
