Surrounded by tall pine trees and a large garden, Lake Tekapo Cottages offers stunning mountain views. Guests enjoy free WiFi and free secure parking. We were delighted to be offered an upgrade to the “honeymoon suite”. The clean roomy cottage had a homey feel. The location was ideal ~ tucked away in the trees and yet a 5 minute walk to trails around the lake and a 10 minute walk from several restaurants.

Select Braemar Lodge & Spa is a luxurious lodge nestled in the foothills of the Southern Alps, close to the village of Hanmer Springs. everything except the location was amazing down dirt and shingle roads with hardly any signs

Situated in the picturesque Canterbury high country, Fable Terrace Downs Resort features all day dining, an 18 hole golf course and a range of outdoor activities. Fabulous apartment with everything you could need - even a washing machine and tumble dryer, which we put to good use

Peppers Bluewater Resort is a 4.5-star hotel close to the shores of Lake Tekapo. The staff were absolutely wonderful, we got upgraded to a larger apartment with a kitchen and were even given a free pass to the hot springs which was very exciting! The apartment was huge, with a lovely balcony and view of the lake. If it hadn't been cloudy the stars would have been brilliant too. The kitchen was very well equipped and the staff were happy to help if we had any requests (not that we needed anything else!). The bed was extremely comfortable and the very large bath was delightful, as was the shower. The non-fogging mirror was also a nice surprise! My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Methven Resort is just a 5-minute walk from the heart of Methven and a 3-minute drive from Methven Golf Club. Christchurch is a 1-hour and 10-minute drive away. Excellent check in service, the staff saw that we were in need of a power box while refreshing the room and provided one plugged in without us asking. Beds were very comfortable and the room was really warm, highly recommend staying here if you're looking in the area
