The moment I stepped into Malabar Hill Hotel, I felt an overwhelming sense of serenity. Nestled amidst nature, it’s the perfect place for those seeking a calming retreat from the hustle and bustle. Imagine waking up to the chirping of birds, an expansive forest that stretches as far as the eye can see, with the azure sky above and a tantalizing glimpse of the ocean in the distance. And the pool? Simply a dreamy oasis. At their restaurant, each dish is a culinary masterpiece, with flavors so authentic, you can taste the richness of every spice. A little tip: if you prefer milder flavors, do request them to tone down the spices. My stay was made even more memorable by the trips we took. The Galla Fort exudes historical charm, the tea trip was an enlightening journey into the world of tea-making, and the Kollaghan Lake was a visual feast with its picturesque islands, lively birds, playful monkeys, and yes, we even spotted a crocodile! I could hear the waves at all times which is very soothing to me. The bed is super comfortable and the room spotless. I also loved the beanbag chairs outside the rooms.

Located in Weligama, Weligama Temple Tree has a garden and free WiFi. All rooms boast a private bathroom. The rooms also have a terrace. Guest rooms at the resort are equipped with a seating area. טמפל טרי זה המקום שבו התחלנו את הטיול אחרי נסיעה מתישה, פספוס טיסה והמתנה של שעות בשדה. בעל המקום צינטאקה ראה את הקושי שלנו וקיבל אותנו בצורה כל כך יפה ונתן תחושה טובה, ישר שהגענו הושיב אותנו פתח לנו קוקוסים והתעניין במצבנו, החדר שינה מהמם מעוצב יפה וחדשני בנוסף מרפסת ומקלחת מדהימה עם תחושה של ספא, היה לנו את כל האקססוריז הדרושים בחדר וזה המקום הכי טוב מבחינתי שהייתי בו בווליגמה. צינטאקה נענה לכל בקשה שלנו גם שביקשתי ממנו חלב סויה הלך ורכש. החוויה שלנו שם הייתה קסומה ואני לגמרי ממליצה :-)

Situated in the Mirissa Beach district in Mirissa, 500 metres from Whale Watching Mirissa, Resort of Happiness features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property and views of... The beach and the main road were near the property. The beach restaurants were available at night by 10 minutes walking. It was about 30 minuets walk to coconut hill. The owner`s brother transmitted us to the bus stop by his tuktuk after checkout. We could see the small turtles in the beach. The room was very big and spacious.

This incredible property is one of the few to be situated right on the beach, with all the rooms overlooking the sea. Everything about this small hotel is wonderful! The swimming pool, also overlooking the ocean, has ample space to relax; and their restaurant has to be the best in the area. Everything we ate was delicious! We stayed for 4 nights and could happily have stayed longer. There is a natural tidal pool within easy walk and I had at least one turtle join me every time I swam there. My husband surfed right outside! No need for jumping into a tuk tuk to search for waves. Jamu surf hostel is just 2 roads away where daily drop in yoga classes are offered. Oh and best of all…the staff! So very friendly and helpful! All in all, a phenomenal stay!

The location is so beautiful! You can go for a swim in the gorgeous waterfall by the property. The couple who run it are so nice and friendly. I did the rainforest tour organized through the owner and it was such a good tour, the guide was amazing. Food was delicious and the room and bathroom were so clean!

The owner of this place is the nicest guy. The commute to the beach area is not complicated or long at all. It's not a drudgery because you constantly enjoy peacocks, storks and other promiscuous animals around. The owner can help you rent a scooter and you can park it under the canopy. This place helps you to unfold the true unimaginable vacation in Sri Lanka, and I will remember it vividly.
