Shine Wave Turtle Beach consisted of four large guest rooms, each with a terrace or balcony looking out on a secluded garden full of coconut trees. Construction of another building on site was nearing completion; it will be a bar and restaurant, I think. Rekawa Beach is only a 200-metre walk away, though it can be accessed from other directions too. There are several restaurants only a short walk or tuk tuk drive from Shine Wave. Two of the best were within touching distance. Of the five places we stayed in Sri Lanka, our room at Shine Wave was the largest and most comfortable. It included a massive bed, a fridge, air conditioning, an effective ceiling fan and a huge, attractive bathroom with a terrific HOT power shower and plenty of space for our toiletries. On our balcony, there were two comfortable chairs and a coffee table. Also, there was a small dining table and chairs where Chattu, our very accommodating guesthouse owner, served us a delicious and varied breakfast each morning. We loved having a private breakfast while watching peacocks and other birds flit about the garden. After travelling around the country and going on tours, this accommodation was the perfect way to finish our holiday on a relaxing note.

We liked everything about our stay: location, breakfasts and tips from the owner about what to do in the neighborhood. You can go bird watching, go chill and swim in a reef- protected Harmony Beach. Overall amazing!

The food, crafted by the owner, an exceptional chef, was outstanding, with a new daily menu based on the freshest market ingredients. Access to a pristine beach, often all to ourselves, offered unforgettable views. Comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, and the AC provided a reprieve from the heat. Generous hosts Thibal, Tatiana, and Charlotte catered to our needs, offering fresh fruit plates and complimentary drinks throughout our stay.

Great and cozy place with a nice view. The room was large and clean. The staff was kind and the owner made us a delicious breakfast (papaya smoothie was fantastic). If we come to Sri Lanka again, we would definitely come and stay here more than one night :-)

Staying here was one of the best decisions I made on my Sri Lanka trip. Priyanthi went above and beyond to help me plan my days in Tangalle (scooter hire, tuk tuk help, turtle viewing), and cooked some of the best food I've had so far in Sri Lanka - all from scratch. Breakfast and dinner were both exceptional. The room was clean, bed comfortable and supportive, and general vibe very relaxed. I suggest other travellers choose All Views - Rekawa Beach is very chilled (Tangalle is much more "touristy"), the hotel itself is great, and Priyanthi brings everything together. I would love to come back.

The pool is beautiful and clean with an amazing view onto the ocean. The breakfast was good. Order the Sri Lankan breakfast the night before if you like Sri lankan breakfast. The palm trees and service at the hotel were awesome. Loved everything about the hotel.

Yakaduru Yala is located on the buffer Zone of Yala National Park. It's just 5 minutes away from the Yala National Park Entrance. We went to Yakaduru for a safari experience and had a good time. Specifically, the safari and village visit were the best. Experiencing traditional village, including visits to chena mud houses and tree houses, was also nice. We loved having lunch during the safari. Also we booked a BBQ for 2 people, which had a lot of different foods. Overall, we had a happy and valuable time thanks to Yakaduru.
