We were driving our rented tuktuk from galle to negombo and decided to break the journey up in two days, so we spent one night here. And no regrets because this place was wonderful! The design of the area is peaceful and beautiful, the pool is well-kept without the overwhelming chlorine scent and the staff is friendly and helpful (when it rained they laid out umbrellas at our door!). It all made for a relaxing afternoon of lounging and swimming. The rooms are very clean and spacious, perfect ac and room climate. The bathroom deserves its own mention because there is a waterfall shower which feels luxerious and relaxing! We had dinner and breakfast here and both were very good. I loved the chicken and cheese kottu while my bf found the fish and chips tasty. The fries were thin and crispy! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

The hotel is located in one of the most picturesque areas in Ahangama opening up to the sea. Whichever room option you select, you are guaranteed an amazing view of the ocean. The hotel is situated next to probably the most amazing beach as well. You can swim here for hours on end as the waves are sort of calm because of the natural breakwater created by the rocks around. The service is immaculate. We had butler-like service answering to our every need. The waiting staff during the meals were also super friendly and attentive. We loved taking all of our meals at the property. The food was also delicious and one of our highlights during the stay – particularly the dinner from the a la carte menu. This hotel is just one of those we can have more of in the coast of Sri Lanka. The people, food and views all combined to make our stay super memorable.

The moment I stepped into Malabar Hill Hotel, I felt an overwhelming sense of serenity. Nestled amidst nature, it’s the perfect place for those seeking a calming retreat from the hustle and bustle. The spacious rooms exude warmth, and each is spotlessly clean, offering cozy comforts that make you feel right at home. But what took my breath away was the balcony view. Imagine waking up to the chirping of birds, an expansive forest that stretches as far as the eye can see, with the azure sky above and a tantalizing glimpse of the ocean in the distance. And the pool? Simply a dreamy oasis. At their restaurant, each dish is a culinary masterpiece, with flavors so authentic, you can taste the richness of every spice. A little tip: if you prefer milder flavors, do request them to tone down the spices. My stay was made even more memorable by the trips we took. The Galla Fort exudes historical charm, the tea trip was an enlightening journey into the world of tea-making, and the Kollaghan Lake was a visual feast with its picturesque islands, lively birds, playful monkeys, and yes, we even spotted a crocodile! מלון האריטה (Haritha Villas & Spa) ממוקם על גבעה מתחת לצמרות עצים, במרחק של פחות מקילומטר אחד מחוף נריגאמה (Narigama beach) ו-1.2 ק"מ מחוף היקדואה (Hikkaduwa beach). This place was a dream! No reception, no check-in, everything is set up to make you feel in paradise as soon as you arrive. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. Special mention to Dumindu. He made our stay spectacular! He was so professional, helpful, friendly, polite and attentive to our needs. The food.. just incredible! The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. We had monkeys just in front of our bedroom. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and the SPA and will come back for sure!

Located in Weligama, Weligama Temple Tree has a garden and free WiFi. All rooms boast a private bathroom. The rooms also have a terrace. Guest rooms at the resort are equipped with a seating area. טמפל טרי זה המקום שבו התחלנו את הטיול אחרי נסיעה מתישה, פספוס טיסה והמתנה של שעות בשדה. בעל המקום צינטאקה ראה את הקושי שלנו וקיבל אותנו בצורה כל כך יפה ונתן תחושה טובה, ישר שהגענו הושיב אותנו פתח לנו קוקוסים והתעניין במצבנו, החדר שינה מהמם מעוצב יפה וחדשני בנוסף מרפסת ומקלחת מדהימה עם תחושה של ספא, היה לנו את כל האקססוריז הדרושים בחדר וזה המקום הכי טוב מבחינתי שהייתי בו בווליגמה. צינטאקה נענה לכל בקשה שלנו גם שביקשתי ממנו חלב סויה הלך ורכש. החוויה שלנו שם הייתה קסומה ואני לגמרי ממליצה :-)

מקום האירוח Naomi Beach Resort - Adults only נמצא בווליגאמה, במרחק של מספר צעדים מחוף דמאלה, ומציע בריכת שחייה חיצונית, חניה פרטית בחינם, גינה וטרסה. מיקום טוב, קרוב להכל. מלון אינטימי עם 12 חדרים וללא ילדים, היה מדהים. נוף הכי יפה שיש, מסעדה מעולה וצוות ממש אדיב.

מקום האירוח Hiru Resort Inn Unawatuna שוכן באונה ואטונה, במרחק של 300 מ' מחוף אונוואטונה, ומציע גינה, חניה פרטית בחינם וטרסה. The location is very quiet 🤫, off the main road even in the centre, close to the beach and all the shops. The room was very clean, the property looks freshly decorated, new fitted bathroom, shower with the hot water, big bed with a mosquito net,small fridge in the room, very good value for the money. You have lots of monkeys in the area, which was fun to watch and you can feed them( they do not disturb you). The owners are very nice and generous people, will help you with anything. Situated in Hikkaduwa, 300 metres from Hikkaduwa Bus Stand and 500 metres from Hikkaduwa Beach, Arcadia Resort features a year-round outdoor pool and barbecue. We with my family stayed in Arcadia second time. It is very nice place with two pools and green territory. First time we booked a room on second floor. It was very comfortable, but a little bit small for two adults with 2 years child. But big thing is that there is a kitchen on 2nd floor. So we cooked there a lot. Jay, the housekeeper, was so kind with us and made our stay much comfortable. Thanks to him especially ☺️ Arcadia placed near bus station of Hikkaduwa, so infrastructure was near us - a lot of shops, fish market, beach, restaurants... Everything was near. Second time we stayed in challe. It is also very comfortable. But if you want to cook something, you should go to the other building to the second floor. But whole impression of staying in Arcadia is very nice. We will recommend this place to our friends
