The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. A good smell came from the room. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. Not only breakfast but also lunch & dinner can be had here at a low cost. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most. No matter what time of day or night, you could turn to them with all your concerns. They arranged my all tours with lowest cost than elsewhere (including Pidurangala, Dambulla, Village tour & Elephant safari). They washed my clothes in lowest cost. The price performance ratio is very good. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone. On my next stays, I will definitely check into Green Garden Resort again.

The husband and wife were very helpful from beginning to end and always with a smile on their face. They are so passionate in their cooking (which was very yummy) and also in telling us information about the old city. We had the option of renting bicycles for the day ($5 each) or renting a tuk tuk ($15 for 4 hours) and decided to take the bikes. We had such a beautiful day cycling and got to see way more than we had expected coming in to Anuradhapura. They also helped us organise the safari to Wilpattu i.e. tuk tuk to and from, entry ticket and jeep, which was by no means cheap but worth every single penny and has been the highlight of our trip so far.

The location is great, walking distance to the mihintale rock temple. The room is very clean, comfortable, spacious and a lovely garden. The family who own it are very friendly and gave us drinks. Mihintale is a nice break from overcrowding of Anudharapura and Dambulla and this hotel is very peaceful. I definitely recommend for everyone! Thank you!
