Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Wilderness Center / Óbyggðasetur Íslands offers pet-friendly accommodation in Óbyggðasetur. Guests can enjoy local and home made meals on site. Rural beauty, serene and off the beaten path. Like going under the rope at a museum and sleeping in the bed. Something spiritual about the place just made you want to slow down and be for awhile. Family dinners were a pleasant change to the hotel fare. Well worth the jog off the beaten path!
