The grounds are beautiful, the golf was great, the staff are friendly and helpful ( full concierge service)
AND the food is amazing- the tasting menu at The Cove Restaurant was a highlight of the trip

This stunning, 163 acre estate includes beautiful gardens, a 40-acre lake, and the fantastic Sky Garden crater. Fresh home cooking is provided, and guests can enjoy canoeing on the lake.
Spacious and bright, each room in the historic country house offers scenic views of the surrounding parkland or gardens. Our 26 guest rooms all include en-suite and are located in the Manor, its adjacent Mews and the Lake House which is a short drive from our Manor House. Guest can relax with a flat-screen TV and free tea and coffee.
We loved having access to the Sky Garden and walking the estate’s gardens and woodland paths. A touch of luxury even though we had the smallest room accommodation. Very quiet and peaceful.

It is a fantastic old world house with all the luxury of modern accommodation . From The freshly baked pastries in the morning to the fresh fruit home made brown bread . The four poster bed everything about this property is exceptional . We Will definitely be back.

I loved the decor in the hotel and the feeling it gives you of old time luxury. The shape of our room was narrow and long and we really liked it. The branded complimentary items like water is a lovely touch. It's so nice being in the city and not needing a taxi.

The location is right in the middle of the main street in Clonakilty - very central; my room was very comfortable and clean and spacious - with a balcony (nice surprise) and overall had the atmosphere of grandeur and luxury; check out is 11; the hotel itself oozes charm and history and seems to be a Clonakilty institution; kettle and tea and coffee-making facilities and a nice breakfast choice...

outstanding service, immaculate surroundings and excellent food in both on site restaurants. A double ended bath and large walk in shower add to the luxury feeling. The pool is perfect temperature too!
