The air-conditioned rooms provide a mountain view and come with a desk and free WiFi. We had an excellent 7 night stay at K2 Lembeh. The owner and the staff are outstanding. Sharon, the owner, communicated in a timely manner, answering all questions before we arrived, and then helping with arrangements during our stay via WhatsApp. Irra, who is in charge of the house and restaurant staff, was efficient and conscientious and very kind. She took care of all the details and even arranged for me to accompany her on a shopping trip to a huge market in Bitung on a day I was not able to dive. It is one of my trip highlights. Man, who is in charge of overall operations, and the dive experience, could not have been any more helpful. From arranging the details of our transportation, to taking me, after hours, into Bitung to see a doctor for an ear infection (he made the appointment, guided me to it, and stayed with me to help me figure out what was needed), to directing our dives, he always went above and beyond. You can tell that he takes pride in the operation and is very conscientious about making each guest’s stay a good experience. Fiki, our dive guide, was one of the best I have had. He was excellent at finding all those cool Lembeh Strait critters, and I also always felt very safe diving with him as he was always aware of us in the water, and was encouraging and thoughtful to me, a still slightly uncomfortable diver. The food was delicious—lots of local dishes, lots of vegetables and fresh fish. It is served as a buffet in an open area with a stunning view down the hill and to the Strait. There are a lot of steep stairs up to the dining area, but we did not mind them. The guests shared a table for meals which I really liked, as we met so many interesting travelers. The cabins are spacious, with a deck and a fine view, AC that works well, and your own carboy of water, with both hot and cold-water options.

We had a wonderful time in this location tucked away on a small beach in the forests of Sulawesi. The comfortable cabins were right on the beach. Staff did everything to make our stay memorable and as comfortable as possible in the rainy season.

This was exceptional, from the moment you arrive all staff is there to make sure you have the best time of your life. The rooms are beautiful, especially when you focus on the details and workmanship (beautiful wood, comfortable bed, very nice ingenious shower, a lot of storage space). The house reef is beautiful with very nice coral and a lot of different fish species. The staff is just amazing, very friendly and knowledgable with regards to hospitality. The food was just amazing, Italian Indonesian fusion cuisine with a very refined taste. Also good options for people who eat vegan/vegetarian. The diving here was very nice as well, Randy and Jek, thanks for your kindness and sharing your knowledge while diving. You all are very special.

The resort staff was superbly accommodating, making sure everything was done superbly and all our wishes were taken care of. Everyone is superbly kind, the resort is gorgeous, the diving is one of the best I have experienced... I am not doing this review justice in this short summary, because it really was so amazingly unreal. Don't think twice, just book and enjoy!

Thalassa Dive & Wellbeing Resort boasts 1 outdoor pools in the shade of jungle gardens, a restaurant as well as a lounge & cafe. Scuba diving can be arranged on site, while free WiFi is accessible throughout the entire resort. My wife and I do a lot of traveling and I must say the Thalassa Dive Resort does it right. The food is plentiful and fresh, the grounds are well kept, the bungalows and villas are comfortable, and there is world class wall and muck diving minutes away. However, the real gem at Thalassa are the genuinely friendly staff. The manager Arjen personally took the time to find out our interests and provided with top notch concierge service arranging all of our activities during our stay, along with joining us for some meals and taking us on a tour of Manado. The rest of the staff made us feel like part of their family with endless smiles and lots of conversation. One of the young ladies even joined us on a dive on her day off work. We can’t wait until our next visit.

Siladen Resort & Spa is an eco-friendly beachfront resort with an outdoor pool, a private beach area and a restaurant overlooking the ocean. Water sports facilities are provided on site and WiFi is accessible for free in public areas. Beautiful resort with yummy food. The management and staff were great -any problems were sorted promptly and we felt very well cared for. Great atmosphere and beautiful sunset views. Amazing house reef for snorkelling! We did the dolphin & snorkelling trips and my boyfriend did some dives (special thanks to Lea for re-introducing him to diving), all well organised. The spa is also fab. 10 days went too quickly! Highly recommended.

Providing snorkeling, fun diving and PADI diving courses, the resort also has private garden, direct access to the sea and the beach, stunning coral reef just in front, a sea view restaurant and a tour desk. Very good food. All staff ( resort and dive center) absolutely helpull at all times. Highly recommended.

Located on the peaceful Bunaken Island with a private beach area, Cha Cha Nature Resort offers cottages and villas with sweeping views of the sea and mountains. The resort also has a Padi affiliated diving and snorkelling centre. From the moment we arrived we felt very much at home and relaxed. Reiko, Agnes and the staff is incredibly kind, attentive and helpful. Everything that needed planning or booking were taken care of by Agnes, which included amazing dive tours, dolphin tour, massage and scooter rental :) We stayed 10 days in the ocean Villa, which is very spacious, clean and has an amazing view of the private beach and ocean. The Private terrasse is also amazing, and a lot of time was spend there relaxing and reading. Right in front of the private beach is an amazing coral reef for snorkling as well as diving. Snorkling there I saw spottet stingrays, sea turtles, pufferfish among the abundance of other tropical reef fish. Amazing place! Be sure to book the dolphin tour, on our tour we were lucky to find a dolphin pod of around a hundred dolphins playing, jumping and swimming next to the boat. Amazing 😍 Lastly, the food is incredibly tasty and diverse thanks to Agnes cooking skills. Great homemade bread for breakfast, and Japanese, Italien, French and local inspired dishes for lunch and dinner. All meals are enjoyed together with Reiko, Agnes and the other guests in a communal style setting. Always very cosy . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can only recommend it! We were very sad to leave.
