The snugs are beautiful, cosy little huts with an entrance boot/coat room, a bathroom and well-equipped bedroom. The views are stunning and you are left alone to do as you please. Gather - the resort’s restaurant - is very nice with fantastic views, and the staff are lovely.

Cottage was spotless and the hot tub was luxury 😊. Loved the views.

I always try to stay here to break a journey up heading south. By no means a luxury hotel but always clean , comfy and lovely views with a lakeside room.

This Inn totally took us by surprise, it is a motorway services Inn, but had the views of a luxury hotel. The bedrooms were spacious, clean, warm and comfortable. Everything you need for a comfortable stop.

I liked everything. It's not top end luxury but excellent value for money. How do they do it for that price??

Location and layout of resort

It's a 3 star hotel so not a luxury resort but the building is beautiful, the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fab. The room was a decent size, the bath was fine, water temperature and pressure great. For a 3 star hotel this proved to be a great experience.

Fabulous comfy and luxury hotel, great staff and large room. Lovely bar area and also had other really nice seating areas overlooking the lovely grounds. We will be returning.

Near to the motorway. Well lit, free car park with plenty of spaces. On site fast food and shop ( although we didn’t use them) It wqs a great price and was comfy and clean. It did exactly what it said on the tin…. A perfect, cost effective, overnight stop. If I was on a budget and wanted a hotel to explore the area then I’d use it again. No frills and no luxury, but exactly as you’d want from a budget hotel.
