The Frutt Mountain Resort has three restaurants, one specialised in Alpine cuisine, one in Italian delights and the other offering steakhouse specialties. Guests can enjoy drinks and panoramic views in the lobby with fireplace. This is probably the most beautiful place in Switzerland we’ve been to. Very nice rooms with amazing views (even the mountain view), excellent breakfast, very kind personnel always helpful, many options for eating, all very good (especially the Titschli), lovely bar lounge with a wonderful pianoman singing in the evenings (thank you G D Angelo for the enchanting after dinner music), fabulous spa and very good kids spa too (enjoyable by parents as well), not to mention the incredible scenery surrounding the place, and really good ski school. Just an amazing place thank you all!

Located in Melchtal, 30 km from Lucerne Station, Melchtal Resort Apart Hotel provides accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Providing a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as an indoor pool and a sauna. The accommodation offers a kids' club, room service and organising tours for guests. We enjoyed the friendly and professionalism of the staff. They went up and beyond for our stay. The bed was the best, my husband, as he typically doesn't like beds anywhere else but loved it here. We took advantage of the lovely pool. I didn't get to use the spa but had a look, and it seemed nice. They had a tea area to refresh yourself after relaxing. Our family were there at the beginning of December, so they have a town tradition to let you know the Santa is coming and to be good. We were able to watch from our balcony the ringing of the bells in a parade like event through the town. If you're a light sleeper, the church bell does ring on the hour and maybe more (unsure). It didn't bother us much, and we were in aw of our room (2 bedroom apartment/with loft). It is away from the town, and since it was snowing, we chose to stay at the resort because we were up the mountain. The kitchen was accommodating my dietary needs. The food was delicious too. Most importantly, they checked if they were unsure. We'll be back to stay. I have nothing bad to say. Great place and great staff!!!!
