Set in Nungwi, 200 metres from Royal Beach, Canary Two & SPA offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a kids' club and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel features an indoor pool, karaoke and room service.

The staff was amazing and really made sure, that we have everything that we need. Since the hotel on the pictures is currently under renovation, we got a room in the Canary Nungwi Hotel with a free room upgrade and free 60 minutes massage for each one of us. It would be better to place some information in the Booking.com description, that the hotel is a different one, but they really cared well for us at the other hotel, it was a great stay and they definitely made it up for that small confusion. They also let us stay a bit longer on our last day and gave us a different room, such that we could shower once more before heading to the airport in the late afternoon.

Literally everything! 1. I’ll start with the very welcoming and friendly staff all over the property! the professional management, reception, room service/cleaners, bar tenders and the amazing dining room staff! we ordered a romantic dinner to celebrate a birthday and they made it very special!! 2. The room: we stayed in an ocean view room which is just few steps away from nungwi beach. the view from the room is incredible! the room has all the facilities a good resort should have. the beach sun beds and the beach bar are just few steps away! 3. Pool area is very nice! you can swim to the pool bar and enjoy a seat on the bar while you’re in the pool! having the all inclusive package I tried all the food options in the pool bar throughout the stay-all of it was filling and delicious! large variety of cocktails and drinks. 4. Dining room menu changes every day, a lot of decisions food options! I would’ve expected more sea food options though. the dining room itself is clean. The serving staff are adorable! always smiling and welcoming. never had to wait for a waitress for anything! they were always there to serve with a smile. To sum up I can easily rate this stay to be on of the best resort stays we ever had. I won’t think twice to book it again if traveling again to Zanzibar.

Large rooms with working aircon, small refreshing pool and friendly staff (they prepared us a takeaway breakfast when we had an early start for a boat trip and let us keep drinks in the fridge). Also delicious food, more than ample breakfast included and all at a very reasonable price. The location is close to the local beach, with a few bars and restaurants nearby. It's slightly away from the main tourist area but we preferred this as it was peaceful and we enjoyed the walk along the beachfront towards the main part of the resort.

Gaia Villas has a very cozy and friendly vibe, with an amazing staff! The hotel is small which ensures the feeling of privacy and we enjoyed a lot chilling at the pool side too! Breakfast is filling with great options! Rooms are super clean and the ceiling fan was enough for us during the night even though there is also AC in the rooms. The beach is a 10 min walk but this way we had the chance to also see the non-beach resorts areas. It felt very safe all times to walk home even during the night!

This is not a hotel, this is a fully fledged all inclusive resort with all amenities to please guests and a great beach with minimal tides. The evening entertainment program encourages the audience to play and dance. The resort is oriented towards groups sent by tour operators (e.g. RIU) and feels crowded but still maintains an adequate level of service and hospitality. The price-quality ratio is very good, if you want to stay in a more intimate hotel with the same level of service - you will pay twice.
