A fantastic resort surrounded by rice fields with wonderful views of the hills. We stayed in the Panoramic suit which was very spacious and great value. Delicious breakfast and lovely hosts - highly recommend, so peaceful!

Everyone and everything! Was a beautifully well maintained property! Ying and Pete are amazing hosts and I felt so taken care of from the moment I arrived! Ying and her beautiful niece 🥰 were such lovely people who I enjoyed talking with so much! Nothing was a problem. Ying is an amazing cook! I recommend eating at her restaurant. I just pre ordered my meal and time and then came down to eat at the lovely on-site restaurant! I had a wonderful day having a nice long walk around the village and then a few hours by the pool! The pool was so cool and was very well maintained ( like the whole property) and I just relaxed the afternoon away by the pool looking at the rice fields. It was truly magical! My accommodation was extremely clean and the bed was so comfortable. I just snuggled down at night into my cozy room! I really really did not want to leave! Thank you so much to Ying and her lovely niece. You are just the most beautiful warm kind and friendly people and thank you so so much for making me feel so special! I look forward to coming back next time I am in Chiang Mai! They also arranged my taxi back into town and my driver was Ying’s nephew - he was such a lovely and polite young man!! If you are looking to relax in a 5 star setting and also be really well looked after I have no hesitation in highly recommending Country Retreat! Everything was FABULOUS!

This place is amazing. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, the bungalows are in front of a clean and small pool, a nice place to chill out at the sunset. The restaurant is perfect, you can find different dishes, Thai and International dishes, good prices and well-cooked. The staff is really kind and helpful and the all the resort is well-preserved and clean. Wi-fi is also good. The area is plenty of opportunities and Grab arrives there. If you like walking, you can easily reach the most important attractions in 30/40 minutes. It took 30 minutes to arrive in Chiang Mai but it is calmer and the temperature is better in the burning season. Highly recommend!

A wonderful stay at a gorgeous resort. Loved the waterfall outside our room. Peacocks wandering around made it exotic. Liked the pool and all the areas to sit around the river and waterfall. Had breakfast modified for us as we are vegetarian.

Our little garden villa was extremely comfortable and beautiful. Every detail is thought of - from the beautiful patio overlooking trees, to the semi-outdoor shower, the plants, the provision of slippers etc. Pool was for once refreshing (in many other places in Thailand, due to the heat the water of pools can be very warm). Definitely a nice getaway from the business of Chiang Mai!

We stayed in two rooms and both were amazing, one had its own infinity pool looking out on tree tops and down on the resort pool, which was a great place to chill. The setting for resort pool was magical and there was a large jacuzzi. The other room was was set in natural forest area. Transport buggies available to take you around resort and there were interesting walks.
