Located in Ko Racha Yai, a few steps from Konkare Bay, Ban Raya Resort and Spa provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The property features a bar, as well as a restaurant serving American cuisine. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property.

So glad I found this place! Next time we come to the area, we’ll skip Patong and come straight here. Ko Racha Yai is less-developed and infinitely less crowded than any place on Phuket Island. For us, that was perfect. When you get to Ban Raya, it feels like you have the whole island to yourself. We liked everything about this place. First, it has outstanding customer service. The staff did everything possible to assure a perfect stay—especially a gent named Marboon. We picked a room near the ocean cove and the big infinity pool, which turned out to be ideal. Our bungalow had a large balcony. The main room was also large, as was the bed, as well as the bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable. Nice towels and bed sheets, and plenty of soft pillows. There’s great AC, a big TV, a sofa, and plenty of storage space. A large breakfast buffet was included and tasty, with good brewed coffee. The open-air restaurant offered excellent food for lunch and dinner. Ban Raya rents scooters and bicycles, and there’s a market and another restaurant short rides away. My girlfriend loved the on-site spa. Stay here. You’ll be glad you did.

The food is fantastic, so much variety. The staff cannot do enough for you. Mr Al and Peach and Nick were the best team

The location was beautiful. The water was crystal clear and the island had amazing views and landscapes. It felt like being in the maldives. The spa facility was exceptional and their masseuse Aye was splendid. The staff was very helpful and the resort kept up with its luxury status with small gestures and tokens every night. The property was very lavish and the rooms were spacious.

The location is exceptional. We loved the island and we loved the beach! It was quiet and peaceful here. The food was quite tasty at the restaurant, but quite a bit pricier than high end hotels in phuket. Burgers were upwards of $20 Canadian, and salmon dishes or anything with prawns were $25+. The breakfast included with your stay each morning was quite nice though. We liked the feel of the resort and the layout, and we enjoyed the complimentary scuba gear and paddle boards on the beach. Staff were very friendly and nice

Our bungalow was very nice. Area quiet and calm! Love the snorkelling right off the beach! Food at dinner was mostly very tasty, but no wine so we often went elsewhere. The pool is very nice, only a few beds though. This place has so much potential, hope someone will look after it and make some changes, it could be a paradiseresort!

Swimming pool is great and has beautiful views. We stayed 3 nights and got 2 water bottles every morning, that was great, especially because everything was expencive in the resort/island. Food was okay.

The resort was half-empty. We went there at the end of the season. This was the most beautifully designed resort we have ever been to - and the price was not so big! The pool was amazing, the beach was almost private. I would love to come back again
