Dream vacation. The hotel staff were so incredibly kind and detail oriented and went out of their way to make sure me and my girlfriend had a special trip. They arranged a special dinner for us and decorated our room with flowers. The restaurant had great food and great prices. They even arranged easy private transfer for us to Kribi. There are a couple of local restaurants in the area you can also visit with great food. The villas are to dieeeeee for. A real dream.

A lot of comments on the low tides, must be very day-dependent as we had perfect water for swimming from early morning until midnight! The beach is much nicer here than in front of Andalay Resort…

The cabins.are clean and have a little porch and a garden where you can sit and relax. The owner doesnt have the typical "Thai smile". He seems a little more introvert, but is still very friendly and helpful. Everything is wonderful: great breakfast, the beach, the view, the cottage, the free use of kayaks and bicycles. What exceeded our expectations is the personal touch: the people seem to love their work in Andalay Resort. This comes with a special mention of Nee, the energetic head receptionist, who helped me when I fell very sick. Thanks to her decisiveness I recovered fast and could enjoy the rest of my holiday.

Free tea and coffee and water available to stop massive overuse of plastic bottles elsewhere. Nice beach mats, use of kayak. Good plentiful breakfasts. Moped hire to see the island. Very relaxing!
