We were a group of 4 friends from Austria and stayed Nalu Seahouse from 8th of August until 15th of August 2021. The floating home was the perfect size for our small group and has offered us everything we needed. The floating home has a nice size living – dining room and kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, stove, microwave, coffee machine and ice cube maker. Probably one of our favorite gadgets in there. 😉 There are 2 bedrooms: 1 bedroom with a bunk bed and 1 bedroom with a double bed. The room with the double bed has a balcony door with a small platform where you can enjoy the morning sun as it´s completely quiet. The bathroom comes with a large shower, hairdryer, mirror, sink and toilet. The whole house can be cooled with an air conditioner in the living room. Really important in hot summer days. 😊 The best part of the house is the sundeck. It comes with a whirlpool on deck that fits 2-3 people comfortably. The sundeck also has a large table and 5 sunbeds. The most important feature is the extendable sunroof. I would recommend opening it right after getting up in the morning to prevent the table, chairs and flooring to heat up. I also would recommend using flipflops to go up as the stairs can become pretty hot. 😉 The location of Nalu Sea House is in the Marina of Portorož, offers free parking and has a beach just 2 minutes walking distance away. There is a small Café close to the beach, but I would recommend walking (about 5 minutes), through the camping park right next to the marina and go to Takamaka. It´s a great restaurant, Café and bar in one. Porto Pizzeria was another favorite. If you want to take the Bus to, for example, Piran or Strunjan beach, there is a bus stop right in front of Porto Pizzeria. One last recommendation: in Slovenia you can use the app EasyPark at most locations. It´s an easy way to keep track of your park duration, end early or extend the parking duration and you don´t have to carry coins around with you. 😉

Friendly staff, very good breakfast, average dinner. The rooms are very spacious. There are two separate pool complexes - one with sea water and the other with thermal salt water. The pools are big and the water temperature is warm (30 degrees C). There are many options for taking walks along the coast.
