Very central, close to the waterfront and the city of Funchal! Well equipped and very comfortable! Beautifully furnished and the view is really great.

The hotel is located in a quiet area. No noisy neighboring hotels, casinos, restaurants, or "animations." Even hotel-based events and evening music are closed on the ground level, effectively silenced inside the building, and barely heard from the balconies. Breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent. If you want some tea, be there for breakfast no later than 9:15 (it's pretty crowdy after 9:30), but I can't complain about the food availability — you can get anything up to the breakfast closure. Wifi works very well (Cisco mesh). It was capped at 18 Mbps download/8Mbps upload when I tested, but I didn't see any issues with it and watched Youtube and Netflix flawlessly and downloaded almost 15 GB of videos for offline viewing.

Rooms are full of space with comfy bed and great view of the ocean. Great dine opportunities in hotel restaurants. Outdoor and indoor pools as well as ocean access to satisfy your needs if you want swim or sunbath.

Amazing location it was even better than it's look on pictures. Nice view to the ocean, calm area near swimming pool, Jacuzzi. Many tables so you can choose to eat outside or inside. All staff so pleasant and helpful. They called me from reception on second day and asked how it's going withy staying and told that we can book dinner at restaurant at other hotel. Was nice and long drinks menu. At hotel were mostly aged guests and unfortunately evening entertainment were not so interesting

The hotel is amazing. Beautiful interiors, live music, facilities. The most wonderful was the Staff, especially Rafa, Sam, Bruna, Kazim and restaurant guys and pool guys.
