I don't regularly write reviews due to limited time. But for this particular stay it is worth devoting my time and more. Together with my wife and 2 children we traveled all over Northern Palawan for over 2 weeks trying to stay in the best accommodations available. Luckily we booked 2 nights at the Sunset Beach resort as well. Its German owner is one of the happiest, kindest and most consistent people I have ever met. He has created a wonderful accommodation, in a privileged position on the island. Everything is spotlessly clean, the pool amazing and similarly clean, the food great and all the people working there kind and caring with smiles on their faces. What more could anyone ask for! Even in a small accident we had, he helped us like a brother. Roberto we will never forget you and thank you for everything. Room where very nice, best hotel in Port Barton my opinion. Staff was very nice we had a fever the last days and where there for us to help us with our needs, event the owner got involved and helped us. Would greatly recommend it !

Coconut Garden was our last destination on Palawan and we truly enjoyed our stay. We travelled with 2 small kids and had a great time snorkelling, kayaking, swimming etc. The lovely staff was always helpful and we tasted some great seafood in their restaurant.

It is a small paradise just a few meters from the beach. The owners are very concerned about the well-being of the guests and a little chat with delicious drinks for the cozy evening hours. Adventurous excursions are provided during the day. The breakfast and the coffee is also delicious. Especially with the children, since we don't have a TV and therefore the board games from the resort were used a lot. We enjoyed it very much at Rubin Resort. Thank you so much for everything. The property was even more beautiful in person. A hidden gem for those who want a pure island experience. It’s situated in such a peaceful and private beach. The rooms were way bigger than we expected, air conditioning is cold, and the bathroom was clean and had good water pressure. Staff were friendly, food was good and had large portions though a bit on the pricey side for the area. All worth it ♥️ will definitely come back
