The open-air bamboo-clad Ten Tuskers bar and Dining Pavilion wrap around the resort’s free-form swimming pool. Guests can enjoy creative daily-changing menus of authentic Sri Lankan cuisine in the restaurant, as well as sundowner cocktails and picnics al fresco on the sand dunes, watching dusk settle over the Indian Ocean. Guests learn about the wildlife in the park and watch documentaries in the library.

Absolutely incredible experience - a shame that I could only stay for one night because the daily safari was wonderful with an incredibly knowledgable guide. Each of the meals were delicious. I was lucky to experience the BBQ dinner night. The private pool was wonderful. The room itself included everything one could ask for and the decor was sensational.

Yakaduru Yala is located on the buffer Zone of Yala National Park. It's just 5 minutes away from the Yala National Park Entrance. Yakaduru is renowned for its architecture and tourism, where guest can stay in properties built by Mud and palm thatched roofing. Yakaduru Yala runs on renewable energy sources, and features free WiFi, on-site parking and a barbecue facility.

There is a 24-hour front desk at the property. Guests can engage in various activities, such as cycling and hiking. The resort also offers bike hire.

There were many wonderful experiences to be had at Yakaduru Yala. We explored the forest areas and observed the farmers working in the chena fields of Sri Lanka. Climbing up to the treehouses was another highlight. When we needed a break, we enjoyed refreshing coconut shell tea from the chena. The people at Yakaduru were incredibly helpful and hospitable, ensuring we were always well taken care of with delicious food, drinks, and new adventures. One of our favorite experiences was Hoppers Night, where we got to cook and enjoy hoppers with the assistance of the staff. Additionally, we admired the traditional masks found throughout Yakaduru Yala, and appreciated the environmental focus evident in the buildings, tables, and walls.

Hilton Yala Resort has a fitness centre, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Yala. 21 km from Situlpawwa and 22 km from Tissa Wewa, the property provides a bar and a private beach area. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests.

The Hilton Yala was a very unique state of the art property in the middle of a National Park! The hotel grounds, pool, architecture, and overall layout were stunning and something we haven’t experienced before. However what made this one of the most memorable experience for us is the amazing and ever smiling staff right from the reception, kitchen, and room service staff. Their executive chef was always there smiling and greeting the guests which made this super special!

Situated in Yala, 8.5 km from Tissa Wewa, Allure Yala - Lakeside Luxury Suites features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. This 5-star resort offers a 24-hour front desk, a tour desk and free WiFi. The resort has an indoor pool, hot tub, karaoke and room service.

It's not just the vast indoor room sizes and the serene cutoff from the outside world outdoor spaces. It's not just the attached pool, or the coffee maker or the humidifier or the finest heating in their opulent bathrooms. It's not just the warmth in Ishaan, Pathun and the other boys in the hospitality dept. It's not just the marketing team's seamless logistics and event planning skills. And it is not even just the phenomenal chef's attention to detail in everything from the menu to the finest ingredients and techniques that he brings to every plate he serves for the guests. It is the time, sweat and effort it has taken to build an amazing paradise called Allure Yala on the banks of the great lake. After our stay at Allure Yala, I'm sure of one thing, this place has magic and it's owner has great taste. I have stayed at so many posh hotels in India and Sri Lanka, but the attention to detail in this place is amazing and blows away the competition. Right from the coffee table books (Rolex, Africa with love, and Sri Lanka in one day), to the meticulously built rooms (even their steps have rounded corners to prevent accidental injuries), and the cutlery that is used to serve food and the maharaja trolley they use to bring the food, everything is perfect about this place. My foodie wife was blown away by each one of the 6 dishes the chef had made for us. From the authentic appams and the sambals, to the finest tomato and cheese sandwich, we will remember him for a long time! Our 2 year old daughter was the most peaceful here (in our 10 day trip in Sri Lanka). She had our best sleep here and didn't even wake up once thanks to the double AC + the most comfy beds. Personally for me, I was sick on one of the nights (had a mild fever, cold, and some pink eye) but somehow i am compelled to think this place took me in when i was ill and healed me (both spiritually and physically).

This is most unique hotel you can stay in Sri Lanka. Staff is very friendly, helpful and they make sure they do whatever you request. Even cook can cook you if you request something out of the menu and whatever he cook was amazing. Rooms are super clean, bed comfortable. Minibar is full with drink, snacks and for free. They provide security of you because of wild animals they escort you from/to room or facilities whenever you need. We use Spa and 2 Balinese girl also doing good massage which I can recommend

Laya Safari is tucked away amidst beautiful sea views. Only 2 km from the popular Yala National Park, this beach property features an outdoor swimming pool, spa and spacious guestrooms fitted with free Wi-Fi access.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 days in October 2023. The hotel is located in the Yala Nature Reserve on the ocean. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel staff. The general manager of Colonel proved to be an amazing person. He gave us a real celebration in honor of our wedding anniversary. It was funny and unforgettable. The hotel itself is not new, but it has everything you need. The rooms are large and colorful. All with ocean views, comfortable enough. Many thanks to the staff of the entire hotel for their hospitality and attention to our people.

Staff were very nice especially the camp manager. Staff do go above and beyond to try to ensure a great experience. Location is remote and it was nice to give a different experience to our kids instead of resorts and hotels.

A beautiful property close to Yala. It offered the luxury feel without the price tag. The hospitality and the staff were so welcoming and kind, and the food was delicious! We would definitely recommend having your dinner here. The pool was a welcome bonus to relax in after a hot Safari day.

Unbeatable location, right next to a beautiful secluded beach and only 15 minute drive from Yala national park. The hosts are fantastic and have created a very special place, we felt like guests rather than clients. The home cooked dinner was amazing (likely the best culinary experience we’ve had during hotel stays), and it’s very nice to be able to chat with other guests lodging at the resort. Hosts can also help arrange safaris (but you can book directly, if preferred). I loved it so much that we came back twice :) can only recommend!

Everything is fantastic! We stayed here for two nights while going on safari in Yala with the all inclusive package. The staff at the Lodge were wonderful, and gave us everything we needed. The meals were delicious with lots of different menu options to choose from. The room was clean and comfortable with good aircon. The pool was also great. The perfect place to stay in Yala!
