Have travelled extensively for both work and pleasure - this is the best hotel we have stayed in, anywhere in the world. The staff are absolutely exceptional- professional, consistent and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done to the highest standard. A special mention to Denise who was a very special host. The hotel itself is remarkable. Historic and painstakingly restored- the perfect balance between old and new. Some parts of the hotel feel like you are in a museum. The court yard next to reception is charming and a place we really enjoyed having an evening drink in after the stunning pool and before dinner. We also thought the food at Massimo Manttaro’s restaurant was the best we ate at in Sicily (far better than up the road at the Belmond). An exceptional stay in every respect, words don’t do it justice.

This is a lovely, family-run place. There's so much attention to detail, it was a joy to stay here. The farmhouse is surrounded by greenery, with Mt. Etna visible from the upper floors. I booked at the last minute and they went out of their way to feed me (ideally one should book 24 hours before), giving me a 4-course meal of delicious home-made food. The room was lovely and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were extremely helpful. I will definitely be back. Oh, and the breakfast cakes were absolutely amazing!
