If you want to chill out on a quiet South Goa beach, this is for you. Spring for the beachfront rooms, you'll have ocean breeze and surf to lull you to sleep. Food is superb, cooked by a Nepalese chef, served at beachfront tables with pillows to recline on, and the service is A+. Probeen could not have been more attentive. And owner Deepak's chill attitude is just what uptight guests need to help them relax. Talpona Beach is small, fairly private (except for cows and dogs), and close to other beaches (Rajbag and Patnem are a short boat ride north across the river, and Turtle Beach is a short walk south). Highly recommend.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. Sid is genius at making guests welcome. Even gave us red roses on Valentines Day. He always checks to make sure guests are happy. Breakfast came with a choice of Indian or Euro food. The service was quick, efficient and friendly. Pakoras were fabulous! Location of the hotel is ideal. It has convenient beach access via Art Cafe but is set in a lovely quiet garden. Very peaceful after the music on the beach. Room was comfortable and clean

I loved that the hotel was located on the south side of the beach. Although the vibe is very chill the south side of the beach was somewhat livelier. The beds were comfortable, the view was amazing! I mean this is what Goa is truly about that susegad (laid back) life. I will 1000% comeback here again. For fellow travelers, the food from the in-house restaurant is great we tried out a couple places on the beach and I would rank their food up there.
