Fantastic hotel. Accomodating staff everywhere willing to solve any problem. We were a difficult group, a family of 15 including 7 children and we had some specific needs thay were sought after amazingly and professsionaly. Food is very good with a large variety and changing menus every day for all three meals. We are all vegetarians and always had plenty of options. One of us can't eat Gluten and another one can't eat black pepper. The kitchen staff took care of them brilliantly. The premises are big, well maintained, and designed smartly with a good taste. Nice swimming pools and a great beach. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Platanias is located conveniently in the middle of the way between Xania airport and Kissamos. We recommend renting a car anyhow when visiting Crete. We came with high expectations - and couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you Minoa Palace.

Micul dejun excelent. Locația foarte buna. Hotelul are plaja proprie. Se afla aproape de stația de autobuz spre Chania. Curățenie în camera zilnic. Piscine și spa drăguț. Potrivit și pentru cupluri și pentru familii cu copii. Aer condiționat bun, puternic și amplasat la usa, nu bătea direct pe tine când stăteai în pat. View superb de la micul dejun.

We liked the location , at the beach. No fuss about sunbeds, plenty for guests. Also privar sunbeds at the beach and supersize towels. We loved the quietness after 2200 no noise. Family friendly and clean. Location at platanias perfect. We will reccommend this place and definately come back.

The hotel was a real highlight of our one-week stay in Crete! Everything was just amazing. Upon arrival we (my husband and I) were told that our room in Porto Platanias Village Resort was upgraded to a superior suite with private pool in another hotel of this hotel network - Porto Platanias Beach Luxury Selection. This was a surprise to us! Our room was very spacious and clean with a nice terrace, which had a table, armchairs, small sofa, a private pool and four sunbeds. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was just beyond our expectations. The buffet was diverse, the food - delicious, and the seaview from the restaurant's window was really breathtaking. Everyday we were looking forward to our meals:) We would definetely recommend this hotel for a holiday stay!

First of all our room was upgraded. It’s connected to the beach so you can choose the pool or the sea. The breakfast area is lovely next to the pool or the roof terrace which over looks the beach, it’s a nice way to start off the day. It’s just off the Main Street but is so quiet. The staff can’t do enough for you. The rooms are cleaned every day - which you can also opt out of. There’s two different pools on each side of the complex. Plenty of sun beds. Little shop on site. My girlfriend had a cake delivered to our room on her birthday which made her day (thank you)! It was just what we needed!

If you have a family, it's a great place for you. The beach was RIGHT there! Clean, safe and beautiful. The sea was stunning, you could see the seabed through the water. Lots of activities for kids, day and evening. The food was also very good, breakfast and all. About 35-40 minutes to Chania by bus. You can also rent a car to travel to other parts of the island.
