The most thoughtful of hosts, and wonderful home cooked meals. Malcolm and Margaret set the bar so high for luxury accommodation. As hosts nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel so welcome. A big thank you to Malcolm for lighting the logburner before got back, the huge pot of coffee and Margaret's Macaroni cheese. Looking forward to being back next year

And located close to the Turnberry resort where there are a number of lovely walks, especially to the lighthouse. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful too. There's an Asda supermarket a few miles away in Girvan and an excellent restaurant Souter Jonnies Inn at Kirkoswald only a few miles north on the A77, which has an excellent menu and reasonably priced. It was an ideal location for a relaxing week away.ScottSolo traveler
