Very nice and cozy place to relax. Actually I live in Cairo. So I'm very impressed by your hotel. It's really peaceful and quiet place. Very different from Cairo.

Located on the banks of the River Nile, Steigenberger Resort Achti is an 8-acre luxury resort set in lush tropical gardens.

All rooms and suites at the Steigenberger Resort Achti are air-conditioned and have elegant furnishings. Each room is equipped with satellite flat-screen TV, coffee and tea making facilities, a safe, minibar and hairdryer. The rooms offer views ranging from the Nile, the gardens and surrounding countryside.

I’ve taken a while to sit down and write a review for this resort because I really don’t want to sell it short in any way whatsoever. The view is absolutely beautiful. It’s right on the Nile and the pool overlooking the river is perfect for winding down after a day of exploring. We initially booked just one night at the Steigenberger but extended it to five, and the only reason we left was because we had to catch a flight back to Cairo. The hotel room itself is lovely. It has a decent-sized bathroom and a balcony so you can watch the sunset/rise over the Nile. The beds are comfortable and room service, laundry service and toiletries provided are all good. While absolutely everything about the property itself is wonderful, nothing, and I mean NOTHING, will ever compare to the exquisite staff complement. Every single person is dedicated to making you feel welcome and to ensuring you have a good stay. From the moment we checked in, Mustafa at the front desk was an absolute superstar. He was so kind and gentle mannered, and did everything he could to make our stay perfect. Eltayeb at Sukkarie Bar was so welcoming each night during happy hour. The cocktails were delicious! And 2 for 1, accompanied by some snacks as well. Eltayeb really went above and beyond for us. We also were referred a driver, Ali. He was absolutely phenomenal and made sure we were safe and taken care of at all times. Finally - and this really put the cherry on top - Wael from the front desk was on duty the morning that my bank card was swallowed by the ATM. I was in a state, and I had just over an hour before I needed to be on my flight out of Luxor. He was kind enough to contact the bank and explain what had happened while I was flying. By the time I landed back in Cairo, Wael had a plan of action to get my card out of the ATM and on its way from Luxor to Cairo.

Beautiful resort on an exclusive island on the Nile just outside of Luxor. It offers wonderful views of the Nile & valley of the kings. The facilities were superb: 3 pools, gym, tennis courts, lush gardens and even a small petting zoo! The staff is very friendly and tries to make your stay as wonderful as possible. Also great breakfast with lots of variety!

Thank you everyone for a really lovely stay. I arrived at midday and was able to check in early. I received an upgraded room. The included buffet breakfast was delicious. Every staff member I had contact with was delightful. I checked out of my room at 11am but was allowed to stay and use the hotel grounds till my train departed at 8pm. I had the nicest day in the hotels gardens and resort pool, showers and towels included, drinks and meals at the poolside restaurant. So nice.

Very nice staff, great location. Beautiful, charming roof top with breakfast. Cheap driver for programs. Helpful, smiling staff. Close to station. Please note: this is a hostel, basic accommodation with comfy bed, shower, air conditioning. No extra, basic things! No luxury!!!

We loved our stay at the Steigenberger Resort Achti. I can honestly say that we have never been made to feel more welcome anywhere we have stayed. The staff are amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The reception staff, the Manager, the waiters and the room cleaners all were fantastic. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you need for a pleasant stay. It was our Anniversary and they made us a lovely cake which they brought to the room. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Beautiful resort type hotel. We enjoyed the prompt free ferry service. Breakfast served in the restaurant was huge. It was wonderful to return to the Djorff each evening and anticipate the daily menu selections in their restaurant overlooking the Nile. The owners were very helpful. The staff were eager to please caThey arranged drivers and a balloon ride for us.

Jolie Ville Resort is a really beautiful place; the location is beautiful, it's a really relaxing place to stay, the rooms are amazing - really big, very comfortable, with balconies, lots of amenities - the gardens are really lovely and the swimming pools are huge, really clean and so picturesque. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Luxor as a really lovely place to unwind after visiting all the sights. The staff are very friendly and the food (breakfast and restaurants) is top quality and the menus are very varied.

The room was spacious with a balcony. The spa was excellent. The oasis pool offers great views. The resort being located far from downtown is what I love the most. Perfect for a mini getaway within Luxor
