The overall experience was one to remember. Can't remember the last time we had such an amazing bush experience, Truly one special place to visit and one that we will most certainly be coming back to. Thank you to the incredibly friendly and hospitable staff. From the rangers to the kitchen staff and chef to the management, we felt very welcomed and looked well after.

El Ngala Lodge se encuentra en la granja Pride of Nature, en la reserva libre de malaria, y en la reserva de Big 5 Dinokeng. El aeropuerto internacional OR Tambo está a solo una hora en coche. The staff are incredibly kind, accommodating and professional. They made our stay!

Let´s start with the beginning: Everybody complains about the main gravel road which connects Hammanskraal with most of the lodges in Dinokeng. Yes, it is not great. But you can do it with a sedan (we drove in a Polo Vivo), if you do not mind some bumping and slow driving. I know some tar roads in the Freestate wich are way more difficult to drive. Gate procedure is a breeze, guards are friendly and helpful. Payment for entrence fee cashless only. The map provided with the permit is not totally up-todate, but generally it is hard to get lost as the tracks are well signpostet. Once you arrinvee - you get very clear directions by the owners – your check-in will probably done by Cythnia. She is nice and helbful in any way (so ist he rest of the staff). The hot towel for the face was as appreciated by us as the cold fruit cocktail. These are the fine details which are typical for his establishment. WiFi is reasonable fast and availble in the whole lodge. Pool ist not to big, but as everything here, spotless clean. We stayed in a safari tent. Outdoor kitchen is very well equipped, everything is brandnew or well maintained. Our private Boma turned out as a real romantic place. And a safe one: They provide not only small branches to start the fire more easily. Even a bucket with water is on site to kill the fire after braai is done. We rarely enjoyed such a great spot elsewere in SA… As Dinokeng is in some way directly connected to ESCOM, there is no loadshadding. However, during our stay a heavy thunderstorm came down and damaged eletricity supply. Not that bad as it seems, staff came and supplied bags of ice for the fridge, gas stoves for cooking and more lanterns. In the same time, owners send WhatsApp messages around about the situation. It was a good example how well organised this place is. Just to add, nearest filling station/supermarket is in Hammanskraal. Should not take you more than 40 minutes. Add half an hour or so, and yo

El ouklip Game Lodge lleva el nombre de las formaciones rocosas de la zona y está situado en la zona libre de malaria de Dinokeng Big 5, a 30 minutos en coche de Hammanskraal. What a fantastic place to enjoy some getaway time in the bush and experience the wildlife on your front step. The tents are very luxurious and your own braai place is fantastic. There is some small game roaming around on the plot and for the big game the owner drives you around himself. We even saw a black rhino, very special.

Crimson Bush Lodge se encuentra en Klipdrift y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, jardín y terraza. Johan and Janet were excellent hosts that really went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. The organized game drives (for a reasonable additional fee) were great and we had some amazing sightings. Sipho came every evening to light a fire for us which was so needed on the winter evenings. We will definitely be back.

Meticulous care and thought have been put into the setup of the villa. Little details like a high-quality portable Bluetooth speaker that we could take to the pool area make a difference. The swimming pool is private and good enough to have a dip with the little ones. The bathroom was exceptional, enabling you to relax as is the theme of the place. There was also: - An outdoor braai area. - Aircon in the living room area and chargeable fans in the rooms. - A generator should there be a power outage. - Enough supplies in the kitchen to make a decent meal. Sam was a great host, met us on arrival, and gave us a good overview of the place. He checks in and is quick to cater for requests. Would I come again? Definitely! It is not too far from Jozi but a great escape from the hustle and bustle.

The place was well positioned, and not far out of Pretoria. It really feels like you are in the bush. The place was spotless and has the best beds ever! Everything was well thought out with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The location allows for plenty of animal viewings, even from the deck. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. Would go back in a heartbeat!
