I have regularly stayed at hotels and B&B's all over the world and this is the first place I have ever stayed in that exceeded my expectations. Lovely setting and extremely peaceful. Room was spotless. Bed was comfy and the linen of high quality. Have not slept so peacefully in ages. Bathroom was tastefully decorated and again, absolutely spotless. It's clear that the hosts take immense pride in both their property and the quality of the facilities they provide to their guests. I will definitely be back on my next business trip and will aim to stay a little longer next time.

Located in picturesque Forest Hills in Kloof, Nkutu River Lodge (previously Hot Buttered Toast) offers views over the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve on the banks of the Nkutu River. The Apartment is spacious, clean, tidy, well equipped and well maintained. Nice view from the balcony. Lovely little walk to the river, just remember the anti mosquito spray.

The patio and pool area was lovely with outdoor seating and the property is beautifully maintained and private. We enjoyed our breakfast with great choices in the dining room, and there was a lovely lounge in relax in. Thank you for a perfect stay! We’ll definitely return👍🏻
