Set in Pretoria, 2 km from University of Pretoria, Protea Hotel by Marriott Pretoria Loftus Park has an outdoor swimming pool and a terrace. The hotel is very modern (industrial style) and well looked after - nice atmosphere. Very good breakfast with lots of choices at the buffet. Good cappuccino and tasty hot chocolate, freshly made omelettes. Huge rooftop terrace with restaurant & bar plus swimming pool and stunning views. A popular spot for locals to chill out, prices for meals & drinks are moderate. Very good WiFi and perfectly working air condition/heating system. The hotel is situated in Loftus Park, a very nice area (next to the stadium) and close to the center. It offers a beautiful and clean environment with supermarket (Checkers), shops, restaurants and bars. Outside parking was not a problem, because the area is very safe. As far as we could figure out on of the best areas in town. A special thanks to Takhele, our waiter, who was always in a good mood, very attentive and extremely friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel!
