We really appreciated that the family rooms have a room within them with the children's room, which helps a lot with getting the child to bed and also provides more privacy for parents. We also appreciated that there are people serving breakfast, rather than a serve-yourself buffet. Excellent facilities, including a very nice lounge with a pool table and an poolside area with table tennis. Don't miss the excellent mining museum at the back.

Excellent / Clean / Comfortable We stop there regularly and know that we can count on it being clean and comfortable. Employees are friendly and helpful. It’s a good value. The hosts were extremely welcoming! Upon arrival I received a fresh bowl of fruits which was really unexpected! I was welcome to walk around the farm and the landscape is just amazing! I enjoyed having a digital detox, with my mobile provider I didn't had reception however I welcomed this fact. For anyone enjoying time for themselves, I can highly recommend this place

Frontier River Resort is located in South Africa, 6 km from the Vioolsdrift Border Control to Namibia. Kotzeshoop is 5 km away. The resort is on the banks of the Orange River. Wonderful oasis along the banks of the Orange River with exquisite views. Dirk & Stephanie assisted by Fabs (& delightful 4 year old Jadyn) were engaging and entertaining hosts and we had a fabulous & very relaxing weekend

From the moment you arrive at the property you are spoilt with great views and hospitality. The accommodation was excellent, comfortable stay with everything we needed and beautifully decorated. Dinner was the best we’ve had on our trip, every dish was delicious. Would highly recommend Naries Namakwa Retreat!

Nuwefonteinskop Lodge has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Kotzesrus. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Breakfast and Dinner were excellent. The hosts were perfect and after a very long drive they did everything to make us comfortable. The walk up the Koppie was unexpected and a real treat. If you want noise and nightlife do not go but if you want tranquility under the stars it is just the perfect place.
