Love the old world pub still as good as years ago when we visited. Cosy atmosphere with locals and guests relaxing over a beer !! Rooms refurbished very nicely. Grounds excellent. Most of all - the staff are fantastic very friendly welcoming and helpful. Particularly Debbie, Happy and Tyrone. They went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable even though having to look after our little puppy over meals. Reception was quick and fast and the room was ready even though we were early !! Dog-friendly a big bonus. Will definitely stay there again soon.

The electric blankets and fire wood were a wonderful addition even though we did not need it. The apartment is within walking distance to the nearby restaurant.

The owners were awesome people Andrew was an excellent host Took us for a game drive, what an experience Gave us advice on which areas around nottingham road to see, Breakfast provided was great The bed was absolutely comfortable. Will definitely be back.

This was an unexpected stay in the area after car troubles but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise! We stumbled on this farm in a panicky effort to find pet-friendly accommodation and I still can't believe our good fortune. The farm, and everyone on it, are fantastic. We were looking for a room for 1 night and ended up staying a lot longer. The cottages are incredibly comfortable, spacious, spotless, thoughtfully decorated and well kitted out in all rooms - the electric blankets, log fires, hot tub and freshly baked bread were amazing! There is plenty of space for the family, friends and furbabies. The setting is pretty spectacular - what a beautiful part of the world - and there are plenty of things to do within the property including fishing, hiking and birdwatching. Take the time to find the cranes, they're beautiful! A very big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make our stay so special. Deborah, in particular, was fantastic and really saved the day, I cannot speak highly enough of her and everything she has done for us - it is so encouraging to know that there are such kind people in this world, who will drop everything to come and rescue complete strangers. Do yourself a favour and book one of the cottages, it is 100% worth it!!
