Nestled at the foot of the Langeberg Mountain Range and surrounded by wineries, The Vineyard Country House features an outdoor pool, a sun terrace and patios overlooking the garden. Breakfast fit for a King and Queen! Such attention to detail....someone obviously likes cooking and enjoys food like we do. Super comfortable bed and spacious room with fabulous outdoor shower! A real treat! Very peaceful and relaxing weekend.

Lush, green gardens and comfortable accommodation await guests at this hotel, conveniently located halfway between Cape Town and the Garden Route, in the town of Montagu. *The Art Deco theme of the hotel was well considered and all the public areas were beautiful (the main dining room and sitting room in particular). *Secure parking and great WiFi in all areas. *The staff were all unfailing friendly and helpful. Service in the bar and at dinner was superb, and reception were very engaging. *Our room was Art Deco themed and was well appointed and comfortable. Fantastic views of the mountains from the large bedroom windows (but surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night).Air con worked well, there was a large fridge, and the bed was comfy. *The pool area was a treat in the Montagu heat. There were plenty of loungers and pool towels were provided. The garden was very nicely landscaped, and it didn't feel like a town centre location at all. *Lunch in the Feathers and Flatcaps was tasty and relaxed with an extensive drinks list (always a bonus). The evening mea (2 or 3 course set menu) was a smarter affair in the main restaurant and was superb, both in terms of quality and price. Breakfast was good, with the highlight being the excellent cheese and meat selection. The cooked options were just ok, and we would probably just stick to the delicious continental next time.

Located in the heart of Montagu, this lodge offers non-smoking rooms and a gourmet restaurant serving game dishes. Free parking is available. Cape Town is a 2-hour drive away. The location was great. Mimosa Lodge is located in a beautiful, quiet, very clean town. The scenery was breathtaking. Breakfast was delicious and very filling. My children enjoyed the breakfast most.

The Vic 1906 hotel is in the centre of Montague. Close to shops and restaurants. The Hotel is run by a lovely, kind and caring and friendly family. There were snacks and chocolates in the room. Everything was perfect. Great hosts and a lovely restaurant. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be back on our next visit.

The staff were excellent and the breakfasts wonderful.!!We found Mirihif Retreat & historic Montagu special places and an excellent location to stayt o tour the fabulous Robertson Wineries.( Only 20 minutes by car) Note to travellers you need to book for dinner at the house best restaurants in Montagu to assure a seat!

Its really hard to describe the beauty of the surrounds - it’s so perfectly positioned … idyllic … nestled in the bosom of unadulterated pure peaceful nature. The unit is well equipped with great attention to detail. You will lack nothing … everything works … one of the best equipped self catering cottages we have encountered … it’s MUCH MUCH more than a cottage … the owner Linda is the epitome of service excellence … friendly, caring, attentive and generous … and so are the staff … this is a one of a kind stay …

Fabulous host Kai was proactive with things like advising of load shedding times. She was always on the end of WhatsApp for any queries. Close enough to walk to restaurants for breakfast but note that availability is a bit hit and miss Sunday and Monday as they aren’t open every day. Would recommend Rambling Rose for breakfast (Jus Limin don’t provide any meals). Nice quiet garden in which to relax. Load shedding wasn’t really a problem. Would highly recommend taking a torch as the drive is long and unlit.
