Carla was so easy to deal with. She sent us detailed messages with pictures and detailed instructions on how to find the apartment and get keys. I am not south African, so had some question on load shedding and she replied immediately with all of my requests. The house was equipped with battery lights (already charged) and candles so we were well prepared. The apartment was so clean and the beds were amazing - so comfortable!! If I ever had the opportunity to visit Knysna again, I would definitely return to this apartment!!

Our favourite place we stayed in South Africa! Beautiful chalet with views of Knysna, very spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Attention to detail was fantastic, with plenty of toiletries, linen, battery lamps for loadshedding, great Wi-Fi that never cut out. Felt very private and secure and the hosts were absolutely wonderful and had great recommendations for our stay. Check in and communication was great. Quick drive into town centre and parking was secure and spacious. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Sherlee, Jo and the little dog Lula are the sweetest hosts. We really felt home away from home, and everything exceeded our expectations. We have travelled a lot, and this is our best experience so far. Sherlee did everything possible and beyond to make our vacation in Knysna a fantastic one. The apartment is in a very calm and safe area up on a hill with a stunning view of the lagoon. If we come back to South Africa we will definitely make sure to book at Kindred Spirit Guest Suites again.

The Amanzi Boutique Hotel is superbly located on leisure island looking across the lagoon toward Knysna Heads. Our room had an amazing balcony where we could relax, sunbathe and enjoy that view. The staff (and there seemed to be quite a few of them) all went out of their way to ensure that every request we made was attended to and we wanted for nothing. Advice on restaurants etc was very good; the restaurant shuttle ride (200 Rand, return) was very comfortable and prompt.

The Private Estate, Lagoon Apartment is a lovely place in the Countryside to dicover Knysna, Lagoon islands, the Heads and the pearls on the near Indian Ocean coast Brenton-On-Sea and Buffels Bay. The apartment is light in a beautiful in white style with pritty details, and has a small patio with a view into the Garden. Ohne must emphasize the pleasant and cordial hospitality , and, last not least, a perfect and sensible organization.

Our little garden room was perfect. We loved the big patio to sit outside and the apartment had everything you could need including coffee and some milk. The whole complex is beautiful, you can see the love the owners put into it. Also we got some great recommendations for dinner and what to do around Knysna. Nothing negative to stay, we were so happy with our 4 nights stay. Would come back any time and recommend to everyone!

This place is the good value option in one of the poshest sought after spots on the South African Garden route - the Knysna.heads. Bearing in mind that as far as the view goes, you get what you pay for - the kloof. The official view point and the dramatic beach are a short walk (or drive) away. The studio is neat and private and inviting to have one's sundowners and meals on the balcony. Even braaing is possible.

Pincushion Heights is the prefect location for busy Summer months; away from the crowds. Its close enough to go in to Knysna and a couple of minutes drive to Brenton Beach. Stunning views from the beautifully designed grounds; loved the sundowner deck. Peter and Ursula are charming and accommodating hosts. Apartment was are tastefully decorated and spotless. Booking tip - book the room with a balcony.

Staying overnight in Knysna Elephant Park Lodge it's an absolutely unique experience! No questions about it! Our room was spacious, clean and with a view of elephant boma. "Meet our Herd" is included in a room price which is great because you will have enough time to fully experience your presents among the elephants! Strongly recommend that place to everybody!

I came during low season, and they were so kind to upgrade me from the dorm room to a private room! I only stayed a night, and there weren’t many other people staying so I can’t really comment about the social atmosphere. But it was perfect for my one night stay in Knysna, and it felt safe for a solo female traveler (there’s a locked gate, plus a key to the room).

Keedols and Vickers are amazing hosts. I opted to have breakfast and dinner at the inn and so enjoyed the wonderful home cooked meals. A South African brai the first night and a delicious chicken curry the next. Keedols is a wonderful chef and a warm and gracious host. And Vickers was my guide around Knysna for two days. Really enjoyed my stay here.

The hotel is in a beautiful location between Plettenberg and Knysna and easy driving to both The place is lovely and the staff were so kind and helpful There is a choice of three restaurants - the one in the hotel but also short safe walks through the grounds to Zinzi and the Tsala treetops restaurant All are very good and reasonably priced

A luxurious and peaceful place for relaxation in 15 minutes drive from Knysna Waterfront. Rooms are really spacious, you also have a balcony or a private garden with a private hot tub. Yes, your own hot tub in your garden!:) Since it is the golf club’s hotel, you can walk around beautiful golf courses (if you’re not a player)

The location of this Marriott Knysna Quays Hotel is very convenient for a overnight stay excellent accommodation - clean -neat - and very good service with an excellent \breakfast serviced by friendly staff ..very very good value . Close to resturuants and shopping all within walking distance of Hotel and Harbour..

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation in Knysna, South Africa. The surroundings were very well maintained and created a pleasant atmosphere. The cleanliness of the house was very good and the hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful during our visit. We highly recommend this accommodation for a great stay.

Most incredible view over Brenton on Sea and the other side a full view of Knysna. It’s spacious and perfect for loads of friends or family to break away and have an amazing time. Games Room, Braai Facility and Inflated Jacuzzi. Due to our South African electricity load shedding its also equipped with an inverter.

Great hotel very nearby the Knysna waterfront, only a short walk down the road. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast had great variety and was tasty. The pool and bar area was also great to have as an option if you didn’t want to leave the hotel. Highly recommend.

Perfect location: safe, right at shops and excellent restaurants. The Waterfront is the place to be in Knysna. Apartment: lots of wonderful details to make our stay comfortable, really well equipped. Backup for TV and wifi during loadshedding. Great ceiling fan in bedroom. Water pressure great. Very nice hosts

This is one of the best properties we have stayed at in South Africa, everything was excellent and all the staff very helpful and friendly. We are definitely planning to go again in the summer when we will be able to enjoy the gardens and swimming pool. The view over the Knysna lagoon is exceptional.

Great little apartment in Knysna centre. Good location to walk to all shops and waterfront. Clean and cosy apartment. Kim was a good host and provided clear instructions on how to access car park and apartment. I left a shirt in the wardrobe, but Kim arranged to get it back to me (thank you again)
