We absolutely loved our stay at Zuurberg, and cannot recommend the place enough for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to stay near Addo Elephant Park. The surroundings of the property are gorgeous, nestled in the mountains, and the property itself is also beautiful. Our bedroom looked just like the photos and was very comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Customer service was impeccable and we felt welcome and well looked after from arrival. Alexandra was superb and helped us not only with information about our stay but also with extra tips for our ongoing journey. All the staff were lovely and always ready to help. We also did a whole day game drive and an elephant encounter, both experiences organized by the property and both excellent. Zuurberg was fantastic and we look forward to coming back!

Providing a terrace, AfriCamps Addo provides accommodations in Swanepoelskraal. A hot tub is available for guests. Loved the hot tub and the hammock. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Great views and it was super private!

It felt very private, had a gorgeous little wooden patio right by the river for hanging out and watching the birds. The room was very comfy, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed. There is also solar power that kicked in during load- shedding, and the wifi was great. Sophia was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed paddling on the river on our last day.

Longhill Lodge is a recently renovated villa in Addo where guests can make the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden, and barbecue facilities. Sam, the guide was great. The shared facilities are wonderful. Veranda with fireplace used for both nights. Room small but everything new and well appointed. Great value. You see animals you don’t see in Addo so definitely worth the short drive from the main road.

Located 29 mi from Addo National Elephant Park, Harmony Luxury Tented Camp offers accommodations with free WiFi and seating area. Great stay! Hosts were amazing and cooked some great food, location is beautiful. Outdoor shower with views on wildlife grazing around can’t be beat.

Located in Addo in the Eastern Cape region, Bietjie Rus features accommodations with free WiFi. There is also a kitchen in some of the units equipped with a microwave, a fridge, and a stovetop. Sorita and Andrew are the most welcoming and helpful hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay at Bietjie Rus an unforgettable one. The studio we had is comfortable with a kitchen, the beds were good, breakfast was great and the garden very peaceful. Sorita also gave us some tips where to find the animals in Addo NP as she has worked there as a safari guide for 21 years. We really loved our stay there. Very much recommended!
