Exceptional reception with a MCC welcome drink and help with the bags. No energy/wifi disruptions - probably iwn generators in place. Outstanding SPA centre onsite, requires upfront booking. Situated on the beachfront in Umdloti, 5 km from Sibaya Casino, Surf Motel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, water sports facilities and barbecue facilities. It is right opposite the beach and you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Really close to a very good coffee shop. My go to place when I need to stay near Durban.

Situated in a natural habitat with a lagoon, the ANEW Hotel Ocean Reef Zinkwazi is directly linked to Zinkwazi Beach by a private boardwalk. It features an outdoor pool with a terrace. Apartments were spotless, facilities were amazing. Breakfast a little disappointing but everything else made up for it. Staff very eager to help. Beds really comfortable. Home away from home! We will definitely be back.
