Set in Cullinan in the Gauteng region, with Cullinan Train Station and Cullinan Diamond Mine nearby, 117 on Oak offers accommodation with free private parking. The hosts went above and beyond from arrival to departure. Liza-Marie gave us a choice of rooms and was worried that we might not want guests next to us. I wasn't sure if I had ordered breakfast but she brought a lovely basket with yoghurt and muesli and scones every day. I needed to do some washing as we had been travelling for 2 weeks and had had no opportunity to use a washing machine. She and the cleaning lady just did it for us and we came back to our clean clothes. We ran out of wine one evening and the shops were closed, they just popped home and got us a bottle. The house is old but really well cared for and beautifully restored with homely touches in the bedroom and bathroom. The gardens are well tended and it was lovely to sit on the balcony in the shade. A lovely place to stay.

Featherwood Farm & Nyala Lodge is a recently renovated guest house in Rayton, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and barbecue facilities. Naomi (The manager)'s service was impeccable. Loved how spacious the house was, beautiful furniture

East of East Guest Cottage, a property with barbecue facilities, is set in Avondzon, 27 km from University of Pretoria, 28 km from Pretoria Country Club, as well as 29 km from Union Buildings. I loved absolutely EVERYTHING about this place. The welcome, the beautifully furnished cottage and the lush garden. The ostriches and sheep were the highlight. Truly a hidden gem. Thank you all.

Situated 49 km from University of Pretoria, Sunset Cottages at Viva Connect, Cullinan offers accommodation with a patio. Everything was absolutely amazing. The bedrooms are big enough and the bedding was super clean. The kitchen and the pool/braai area was exceptional. The host took good care of us, we felt like home away from home. The dogs are also quite friendly ☺️

Beka Idube Bushveld Retreat is situated in Cullinan, 28 km from Leeufontein Nature Reserve, 30 km from Cullinan Train Station, and 30 km from Cullinan Diamond Mine. Chris & Coralezet are amazing, hospitable hosts. They afford you the privacy you need for a romantic weekend break, but check in on you enough to ensure all is well. Them and their wonderful dogs make you feel at home in their home. This is our third visit to Beka Idube and we will definitely be back for more! The beds are very comfy, the kitchen has every amenity and the heated plunge pool on the deck is a win!

Offering garden views, Diamantvallei Landgoed is an accommodation situated in Rayton, 35 km from University of Pretoria and 36 km from Pretoria Country Club. Even though we didn't have anything to eat, my wife and I absolutely loved the 'farm like' of the venue. Will definitely go back!
