The Hotel is powered by an inverter and solar panels for full service during load shedding times. The rooms have lighting outside on their patio's as well as inside the rooms. Very comfortable and local. Super friendly and efficient staff.

Arabella Hotel & Spa is overlooks a spectacularly attractive natural lagoon, surrounded by a lush landscape. The hotel boasts a 18-hole golf course designed by Peter Matkovich. Amazing clean facilities, very friendly helpful staff, great food.

Set in the foothills of the Elgin Valley, Trail's End features a restaurant, a bar, free Wi-Fi throughout the property, and free on site private parking. An adventurer's dream. We stayed here as a first stop on a road trip from Cape Town to PE and it was fantastic! I annoyed my wife by overusing the phrase "great vibes" to describe this place, but I cannot think of a better way to describe the atmosphere. The exterior had a very clean and quaint appearance with mountain views. A portico lead to the courtyard with covered seating, a small lap pool, and bouldering wall. Within, there was a large welcoming common space with a library, fireplace, ample seating for reading or conversation with fascinating new people. The rooms themselves were tidy, well appointed and comfortable. The artwork, interior decor, and amenities combined to present a wonderful place to rest and relax after a day of biking or exploring. The entire staff made themselves available to any question we had and recommended some excellent activities. The dinner and breakfast were great. We rented bikes and made use of the hotels well marked and engaging trails. The whole experience was top notch and a great value.

Surrounded by mountain vistas, rolling lawns and meandering streams, country-style Houw Hoek Hotel is located between the towns of Grabouw and Botrivier. Lovely old hotel with modern facilities, great bar and good restaurant. Amazing breakfast.
