Beautifully built and furnished cottages, with attention to all the big and small details. Very friendly and caring hosts. Dramatic mountain backdrop and excellent fauna and flora watching. The picnic basket was superb. We will definitely be back!

This stay is among the most memorable and enjoyable we've ever had. The hostess was welcoming and resourceful, particularly during the storm and flood on the 25th of September. When all around us was chaos and closure, she graciously allowed us to stay with her, providing a safe harbor. The owner also personally prepares breakfast for her guests, serving a delicious array of options including yogurt, orange juice, fresh fruits, and a choice of warm breakfast dishes. Her personal touch, combined with the estate's harmonious blend of traditional charm and modern amenities, such as the pool, created an ambiance of homely hospitality, making our stay utterly delightful and remarkable. The estate itself, rich in quaint, traditional elegance, yet modernly equipped, felt like a warm, welcoming home, ensuring a splendid stay for us.

Surrounded by breathtaking mountains and conveniently located in the center of Tulbagh, this boutique heritage hotel features a restaurant, tapas, and wine bar, spa, conference center, private... The service was exceptional. All facilities were well kept and clean. Staff were extremely courteous and attentive. Meals were well presented and delicious. Made it easy to get to the wedding in Wolseley. Despite being in town there were no loiterers, and we could enjoy our meals on the terrace. It was well worth staying an extra night,

Beautiful accommodation, so full of character, being a converted old stable building. Everything about it was lovely.

This assessment is arguably bizarre. Notwithstanding we were not able to stay overnight at the lodge, we still want to give a (very good) review. On the day before our arrival, there was a particularly severe thunderstorm. As a result, the electricity supply around the lodge was destroyed. We were informed of this by the owners who assured us that everything was being done to repair it as soon as possible. When we were on our way to the lodge the next day, another particularly heavy thunderstorm broke out. We were informed by the owners that - due to the heavy rains - the road to the lodge was very dangerous (and that electricity had not yet been restored). Kyla assured us that it was dangerous to drive on to the lodge and that everything would be paid back. We were kept on point about the weather conditions and were able to find another overnight stay away from the thunderstorms. The refund was -as promised- carried out correctly. Thanks for everything - we will visit next year and hopefully the weather will be nice then ;-)

Amazing staff, incredible service, beautiful accommodation. Would definitely recommend, and hope to come back here! Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and meet every one of our needs or wishes. The rooms were spotless. The food was delicious. The views over the vineyards and mountains never get boring.

Välibasseini, aia, ühise puhkeruumi ja restoraniga TheLAB Robertson asub Robertsonis. Selles neljatärnihotellis on toateenindus ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Enjoyed our short stay immensely. Facilities are fantastic, restaurant for dinner and breakfast, the pool, spa possibilities. Room was also equipped with everything we needed and the bathroom was very spacious and had such a nice shower. The guesthouse also provided a very homey feel, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The manager of the guesthouse, Ruzaan, in particular looked after us so well despite the external challenges with loadshedding and electricity supply from town that made things quite difficult and always had our best interests at heart.

Hotell asub mugavalt poolel teel Kaplinna ja Montagu linna Garden Route'i vahel. *The Art Deco theme of the hotel was well considered and all the public areas were beautiful (the main dining room and sitting room in particular). *Secure parking and great WiFi in all areas. *The staff were all unfailing friendly and helpful. Service in the bar and at dinner was superb, and reception were very engaging. *Our room was Art Deco themed and was well appointed and comfortable. Fantastic views of the mountains from the large bedroom windows (but surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night).Air con worked well, there was a large fridge, and the bed was comfy. *The pool area was a treat in the Montagu heat. There were plenty of loungers and pool towels were provided. The garden was very nicely landscaped, and it didn't feel like a town centre location at all. *Lunch in the Feathers and Flatcaps was tasty and relaxed with an extensive drinks list (always a bonus). The evening mea (2 or 3 course set menu) was a smarter affair in the main restaurant and was superb, both in terms of quality and price. Breakfast was good, with the highlight being the excellent cheese and meat selection. The cooked options were just ok, and we would probably just stick to the delicious continental next time.
