Everything was just perfect! Very nice bedroom with a beautiful view from the terrace directly into the vines. The breakfast was exceptional and lovely, just like Sandra who took excellent care of everything

Surrounded by breathtaking mountains and conveniently located in the center of Tulbagh, this boutique heritage hotel features a restaurant, tapas, and wine bar, spa, conference center, private... The service was exceptional. All facilities were well kept and clean. Staff were extremely courteous and attentive. Meals were well presented and delicious. Made it easy to get to the wedding in Wolseley. Despite being in town there were no loiterers, and we could enjoy our meals on the terrace. It was well worth staying an extra night,

Fantastic setting at the end of the valley. Wonderful views over the vineyards with the mountains in the back. it's really nice to eat on the terrace like this. The personnel is really friendly and will always be willing to help out. The wines are fantastic and the food is decent. It's a lovely spot to wind down and recharge. The rooms are really spacious and have warm atmosphere. We loved the shower with double shower heads.

From the moment I was greeted with a warm welcome, I was made to feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and their friendly, attentive manner made a difference. The food at the hotel was delicious. Each meal was prepared with care and attention to detail, and the ingredients were fresh and locally sourced. I particularly enjoyed the breakfasts, which were a perfect way to start each day. The dinners were also a highlight, with a great variety of options to choose from. The tranquil gardens surrounding the hotel were a true oasis of calm. It was lovely to take a stroll through the gardens and simply relax and unwind in such a peaceful setting. I even stayed in one day just to enjoy the serene calmness of the place! Overall, I cannot recommend the Montagu Country Hotel highly enough. The staff, the food, and the tranquil gardens all exceeded my expectations, and I will be returning in the future. It truly is a hidden gem in the heart of Montagu.
