They have a room which you can use if you are an early check-in or late check-out, which is very nice of their side (even had some water and snacks for night train). The pool and the view are great. Close to city by 5 min bike (which they give for free) and close to Buffalo Cave and other biking roads (the road to Bird Valley is sooo beautiful).

Beautiful renovated family property owned by Dinh’s grandfather. They worked so hard to renovate and convert it into a hotel from 2019. Serene and beautiful garden surrounding the rooms. Quiet. Away from the main streets and just so relaxing to sit in and unwind. The beds are super comfortable, great hot shower with good power, very clean. Beautifully furnished. An incredibly steal, we couldn’t believe the price. LASTLY, and most importantly, Dinh and his mother (Thom) are wonderful hosts. They made us feel so welcome. They let us stay on the last day as we had a train at 11PM all day in their property, let us use the shower and provided towels and shower gel and then invited us to have dinner with him and his mum. It was so special and really made our trip to Vietnam. This has been our favourite place to stay, I’ll remember them for the memories! Also( the food was the best we had in ninh BINH as the restaurants are so touristy. The crab noodle soup for breakfast is a must! His uncle has been making the broth for years so they buy it from him. All the herbs, eggs and fruit are from their own garden!

Everything about this place is so wonderful! The scenery is beautiful, rooms were super comfy, and hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating! The food was also delicious and so convenient being right on the property. The free bikes could get you anywhere you needed to go, plus they had motorcycles for rent too. The property is the perfect location, super quiet and in nature with adorable little goats, but only 5 minutes bike to restaurants and 10-15 to both Trang An and Tam Coc boat tours. We highly recommend!

The staff was very helpful and accomodating throughout our stay. The breakfast had multiple choices of vietnamese foods, fruits, toast and an omelet station. The pool is inside the hotel on the ground floor and looked amazing. The hotel offers free bikes that you can grab whenever. The main street is just a 3 minute walk away.

Ninh Binh city is not nice, but the country side is...
Ninh Binh city is not nice, but the country side is beautiful. I recommend you to do what I did and walk from the city to a home stay in the country side. You'll first get the bustling city, then a really ugly area, then a bit of quieter city where they dried rice on the streets in October, and then you cross the motorway and walk in to the fairytale landscape with mountains and rice fields. A very nice journey from ugly to pretty.

Ninh Binh as such is not much to see but Tam Coc with surroundings is. Enjoy the area before 9 am and after 5 PM when all the tourists coming from Hanoi are gone. Stay in Tam Coc for a night.

Ninh Binh requires at least 2 days, first day for the temples and the boat ride. second day for nature, unfortunately the town is quite slow at night because it's so spread out locals tend to go a very few set of restaurants which means most of them look empty.

We stayed in Vietnam for two weeks and experienced quite a few hotels, but this was one of the best and really even better what we expected. Staff and the whole place is just perfect, the ambience of the place is wonderful. We wish we had a little more time to stay. Breakfast was exceptional and also very nicely presented. We booked our excursions around upon our stay and it was all wonderful, so I can just recommend everyone to do it at the hotel. We asked a driver to take us back to Hanoi, who was also really nice. The Room was big and with a beautiful Bathroom with a very comfortable bed. The garden is just like you would imagine the old Vietnam. Really a place that we will remember and where we would like to return.

This is a superb complex, presumably built to give local people access to bucolic luxury. There is everything you want/need. The staff are very helpful, especially Miss Yen in the dining room. It's a pleasant walk to the National Park and the wildlife rescue centre.

The place has a natural vibe and wake up to the mountains and the pool view is the best. This is a must visit place if you are in Ninh binh and dont forget to capture the sunrise and the sunrise at the mountain.

The location is just stunning, including the surrounding area. If you stay here you could just as well skip tam coc, as it is equally beautiful, but without the crowds. The rooms are basic, but clean. You get an AC and a mosquito net. The hotel itself is not the most comfortable overall, but if you are only here for a few nights it is worth it. The kitchen only serves Vietnamese food. The food itself is decent, and we enjoyed our meals there. If you prefer Western food or breakfast, you might want to look elsewhere. The coffee was actually better then we got in some high end place. The pool is lovely, but could do with a bit more shade for a dive after lunch. It is a homestay run by a Vietnamese Family. They have 2 small kids, so the location is very kid's friendly. Overall this place is a great value for money, especially because you can enjoy the Ninh Binh's scenery until the sun goes down.

Location is amazing, prices for food/drinks, tours, transport and services are very fair, staff are extremely friendly and helpful with everything. An excellent experience overall and just an easy way to travel and book things with them without having to worry or manage anything. They also have a restaurant in the center of town called Flamingo Tam Coc and the food there is very good and also well priced, as well as having a good variety of things on the menu, would definitely recommend to pass by!
