Situated in Hòa Bình, 33 km from Vietnam National University, BAO AN RESORT & BUNGALOW features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. It's definitely a perfect 10/10. Seldom do I submit a review before I leave, but this is an exception as it's an exceptional homestay/hotel with extremely excellent hosts. It feels as if you're good friends (even a relative) rather than a paying guest (not to mention the price is a bargain)...the genuine service is that good and outstanding. It honestly feels like you are staying with family who have decked out their house to not only make your stay comfortable and enjoyable but have catered to avoid their "friends" from getting bored. Now, over my decades of travelling I have stayed in some lavish and very luxurious places (+500 USD per night and beyond), and although the places and services are impeccable, it still feels like you're only a paying guest and the kindness shown is part of their job and associated with the cost. This accommodation property truly does not, and their service, attention, and friendliness are genuine and from the heart. Within sensible reason, they have fitted out and included all the things a guest could want. For example; Covered, tiled large pool (with lights and a fountain) with male/female showering & toilet facilities....even an automatic flushing urinal for the men!! Balconies with cafe style seating. Pool table & ping pong table. A basketball court. An outside, covered, Karaoke lounge area. An enclosed and air-conditioned lounge room with large flatscreen TV & Hi-Fi system....away from the accommodation (for quietness). A sky deck with undercover sitting areas. A water fountain feature. A small playground area for little children. A Foosball table. All this and garden areas, sitting areas and mood lighting too. They have many different types of room to accommodate singles, couples, and families.

Halo Retreat in Hòa Bình features 3-star accommodation with a garden. The hotel also offers free WiFi and free private parking. We visited Halo Retreat while touring Vietnam on our motorcycles. We had a fantastic stay and are very grateful to our host who guided us to a mechanic to fix an issue with one of our bikes. Our room was clean and modern, the bed was very comfortable, the evening meal we had was delicious and I have high praise for our friendly and helpful hosts. I also enjoyed the location, which was peaceful and close to nature. Many thanks for a rememberable stay.

Our room has balcony that faced the breathtaking view. Professional and kind staff who simply responded with a smile to our every request. Highly recommend!!!

La Maison De Buoc features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Mai Chau. The hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool and room service and free WiFi. At the hotel, every room includes a balcony. I feel happy, because I chose this place as the last stop on my journey to explore Vietnam I was truly rested after a long trip. All the staff are kind. Their English was not very good but they took care of me with all their heart. Kim and Map the doggos are also "good boys", they are friendly, they love everyone. They cook in the style of their homeland, the dishes use mountain spices, very strange but also very delicious. Room rates, food and drink prices are cheap. I will return to this place next July, when I return to Vietnam.

Surrounded by mountains and paddy fields, Mai Chau Ecolodge features modern rooms and suites with views and free WiFi. It has a restaurant, bar, an outdoor pool and in-house spa for guests to relax... It is the center of Mai Chau, very accessible. The room is amazing, food is great.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mai Chau! The team treated us like family, even making us home woven scarves on our departure. The retreat is so so beautiful and peaceful, we wish we had stayed longer but can’t wait to go back some day! And even though we went during off season it was still stunning here (next time we’ll be back for warmer weather to utilize the outdoor pools). One of the highlights of our trip was biking around with Ung and seeing the village and the beautiful landscapes of the area (HIGHLY recommend)
