Our room was so comfy and spacious. They had fresh baked cookies when we arrived and more throughout the day. They also had a homemade breakfast- it was a breakfast quiche. It felt more like a B&B than a hotel. Friendly staff. Had a blast and wished we could stay longer. It it within a short walking distance of the Pier.

Situated in Santa Cruz, 1.4 km from Santa Cruz Beach, Hyatt Place Santa Cruz features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a fitness centre and a shared lounge. The room was big and very clean, with everything we needed. The staff were really nice and tried to help with everything we asked. Breakfast was fresh and included a nice variety. The hotel has a parking and valet services for 19$, but there is plenty of parking in the streets around for free.
