Set within 30 km of Peabody Essex Museum and 30 km of The House of the Seven Gables, Long Beach Suites offers rooms in Gloucester. Location was 10/10 if you like a quaint area and a very short walk to the beach. We could see the ocean from the main bedroom. We traveled from Nashville, TN to initially see Boston (which we did), but we ended up booking here and it did not disappoint! We are already wanting to book another trip back and we would highly recommend this location if you like being outside of the city. Also- Surside Subs has the best pizza, subs and ice cream! It’s in walking distance also. The unit was on the first level which made trekking in and out easy. Parking was easy. Everything was great. Thanks so much for a wonderful first time trip to the New England area!

I loved all the little touches throughout, including a breakfast to go customized for me as I checked out. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating (thanks, Nick!). And thank you for having Peet’s coffee stocked in the room. ☕️ 🤎 I would definitely recommend this property for a unique experience on the North Shore.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We got there early and were hoping to just park and take an Uber to Salem. We lucked out and our room was ready! The location is great - close to Liberty Tree Mall and the North Shore Mall with lots of dining options. Clean and comfortable for a fraction of the price of staying in Salem in October. Quick and easy Uber ride to Salem from the hotel.

We chose to stay here while visiting the north shore beaches, just a short drive and the kids really enjoyed having the indoor water park and arcade available. having to pay $16 for basic breakfast was silly but optional. Starbucks limited menu available for the day time but they closed at 5pm.

Location was perfect - we were touring Endicott College which was directly across the street. You can also take a path on the property down to the North Shore beach. The hotel room was exceptionally clean and the bed was super comfortable.

We absolutely loved the building, decor, location and staff. Breakfast was great and the complimentary sherry was a great way to finish off a day of adventures! The staff (Suzanne in particular)was very helpful, friendly, and happy to chat (and tell stories) about the property and best local spots. We absolutely love this hotel. Everything about it is just perfect. The staff are extremely accommodating, the rooms are brilliant with everything you would need, the on-site bar and restaurant is fantastic, and the Hotel is in a superb location.

The room was great. The room was small but ample. Gary put us in a corner room with a deck with furniture, all windows overlooking a small part of downtown. It very quiet at night. Sheets and towels were very clean, the floors, bathroom everything was clean. Nice size TV but on the side wall, so hard to watch if you're laid back in bed. Small fridge/freezer to store snacks, ice cream, leftovers for the couple of days stay. Good microwave. The access to downtown Rockport was great. I took 2 walks a day during my stay. The waterfront, beach, Bearneck village stores were all very accessible and within a 5-10 min walk. Two great coffee shops near by, both sell pastry and/or sandwiches. I ordered dinner at the Fish Shack Restaurant, less than a 5min walk -- good food. Ordered Chinese take out from Hong Kong Kitchen, less than 5 min drive in a near by neighborhood -- typical, satisfying New England Chinese food. Really nice family who runs it. If you need to run to the store, there's a Stop n Shop and Market Basket just outside of town near the rotary. Gary, the hotel manager was very nice and responsive to any questions or requests. The cleaning staff was great, too. Don't forget to leave them a good tip! I would stay here again.

Felt very comfortable as soon as we arrived after a long journey. Lovely staff, very clean and good facilities. On the edge of town for Gloucester and close to the lovely town of Rockport. Had two great meals at Charlies (which you can walk to) and Lobstaland.
