It was, literally, the most beautiful & enjoyable vacation spot I've ever been to. Im considering making a permanent move to the Meridian/Boise Idaho area, because of it's beauty. I truly enjoyed every minute of our visit & found it very difficult to leave.
We live here so not much to say other than we have lived here for 12 1/2 years. It has friendly locals, easy to get around town and sightseeing around Idaho Falls is not far away.
Idaho Pizza Company has the best Pizza ever but the Cities of Meridian and Boise sucks and not only because the city of Meridian is torn up due to construction. I do not recommend visiting there unless you have to.
Boise has lots to do for all family types. Museums, the Zoo, The Idaho Steelheads Hockey, the mall, night life, lots of restaurants and great food. The summer time has concerts, festivals and other outdoor activities. Right outside of Boise is Meridian, with lots of shopping and a water park. We love visiting Boise.
It was a very beautiful city. We loved the old parts and the newer, modern parts as we drove around. Great restaurants to choose from. Nice mall to shop at. Movie theatres to choose from. The scenery around the LDS temple was beautiful. We didn't have enough time to explore, so we are planning another trip in August. See you then Idaho Falls!
I loved my recent trip to Boise. The downtown area is very cute and there was plenty to do within walking distance. We stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites and walked to Trader Joes just across the street, then to the Anne Frank Memorial Park and walked the riverwalk for a ways. It was beautiful and peaceful. The next day, we visited the old Idaho State Penitentiary, which was super interesting and SUPER creepy. We were sad to find that the outlet mall is almost completely out of business. Overall, Boise was a very fun, family friendly trip!
Boise is a nice city and close to all the outdoor activities Idaho has to offer. Restaurants and entertainment are plentiful. I love walking the Boise Greenbelt when I'm in Boise. Also, there are several excellent yoga studios.
The noise from the neighbor room kids that were left alone in the room kept us up till midnight. We came to Idaho Falls to get a jump on our long trip the next day and what a joke that was!
People are small-minded and generally oblivious to the true facts of the city. Self righteousness brought on by another manufactued real estate boom precludes common sense. All who reside in the capital of Idaho should be ashamed of the states recent 47th ranking for education and 50th for average weekly wages.
I grew up in Idaho Falls. It is a beautiful town. I was there to see friends and decided to stay in a hotel the first night. There are a lot of nice hotels in Idaho Falls, but the Shilo Inn has really gone down hill. I would not recommend that hotel, but find a nice hotel and enjoy all that Idaho Falls has to offer!!!
Nice small town, clean and safe even during the nights. Walk everywhere. Short walk from Amtrak railway station. Staff extremely helpful when during last day Amtrak cancelled our train due to floods in Montana. Hotel offered not to charge for the last night as we did not sleep there. Gave us their contact for a transfer (during the night) from Sandpoint Idaho to Spokane WA airport. As the hotel was booked through third party (booking.com) now the refund depends on booking.com. Hint: Book with hotel directly...
Fabulous location for doing a lot of fun things on a roadtrip, including Grand Teton and Craters of the Moon parks, Idaho Potato Museum and much more. Rexburg is a great point to be in. The hotel was recently built and looks very fresh and modern. Everything was extremely clean and well appointed with no weird smells. Had no problems finding a parking spot even when we arrived late. 24/7 reception is extremely friendly. Great staff! Wifi worked perfectly. Showers were immediately hot.
The atmosphere was clean & the walk-in shower was beautiful & exceptional. They had a little bag that they handed out at check-in that contained lotion, make-up remover, soap, & an Idaho potato candy. It was cute! The complimentary breakfast was exceptional. It met all kinds of needs, from vegan to gluten-free, & the vegetarian frittata that I had with local, homemade banana bread was delicious! It was reheated in the microwave, but, it was still very, very good!
Stated in an accessible room and it was perfect. The setup of the bathroom really worked well for taking a shower. Room was very roomy and had tons of room for maneuvering which was extremely nice. Most hotels just add grab bars in the bathroom to make the room “accessible” this room was thoughtfully designed to accommodate mobility. Well done Tru and Hilton. We come to Idaho Falls often and this will be our go to place to stay.
Breakfast coming from another time zone was terrible. Mold on the shower curtain. Air condition unit didn’t work. Ice machine was broke. Spa was dirty. Wayyyy over priced. Pictures on website obviously were from a different location. We stay in a best western plus in Orofino Idaho that kills this place, in every way. Won’t stay here again. Terrible to say, in a town that boasts tourism. 350 bucks for a 2 star hotel at best.
I stay in Idaho Falls once a month. I have found my hotel. The room was newly renovated. It was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was nice. The sitting area was a nice bonus. It's nice for when I come alone or when I am with my husband and son. The staff was very friendly. The room was quiet and very cozy. The location by the freeway is wonderful. It's a great value for the lovely room.
This is the second time in four days we’ve been screwed by booking.com. In Kellogg Idaho while driving into the town the hotel called and said they were overbooked and had no room. Last night in Idaho Falls all your pictures of the Roadway in were reAlly of the Quality Inn next door and not of the building they put us in. I call that false advertising.
The room was clean and the property is maintained well. The other guests at the hotel were primarily families that were traveling with pets. The hotel is away from the main streets in Idaho Falls and very quiet. There are two large pieces of grass on the property for dog walking.
Idaho Falls
Bagged breakfast both days was sufficient and tasty! Or room was closest to apartment building, but all was quiet. The musty room smell was most likely the carpet! For the room cost, we were pretty much satisfied and would, if in Idaho Falls again, stay again.
1st time in Idaho it was good hotel was nice room color was sweet small TV kind of sucks but everything else was pretty good. Didn't get in pool but I should of just for the experience. The convenience for my trip and restaurants being close was awesome.
Being located right across the street from the Idaho State University campus was a definite plus, very helpful to go for a walk, and when travelling with a dog, it was nice to have grass to walk on. It is within walking distance of a number of restaurants.
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was better than expected. Unfortunately the hotel is rather dated and the room smelled musty. Most hotels in Idaho Falls are overpriced so for a quick stop I would recommend it. The bes were comfy.
Breakfast and coffee was hot and just right, location is perfect in getting to many businesses easily. I would and will again choose over the other 3 to 4 star hotels in area. Only complaint is another location be in chubbuck Idaho also😁
Fantastic room, comfortable, well appointed, spacious. Room and hotel was very clean throughout. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location great for Yellowstone. Would recommend and would definitely stay again if back in Idaho.
It was clean and comfortable. They had it well supplied for my stay with great instructions for wifi and TV. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone coming to Idaho Falls. It was far more enjoyable than any hotel!!
Friendly staff, always someone at the desk ready to help when needed. This property has easy access to the Ford Idaho Center, a gas station and Dutch Bros. Coffee ( my favorite) ! ...all within steps of the hotel.
This is our 2nd time staying here. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and has a great breakfast. We love travelling to the yellowstone area and staying in Idaho Falls I will continue to book at the LeRitz.
Breakfast was great. We were in Idaho to go to Silverwood, which was a very easy drive from the hotel. The room was nice, and I liked having a "kitchen" sink. Staff was very nice.
Second time staying in this hotel in Idaho and loving it. I love how the rooms have a small kitchen, with a regular size fridge, sink and a two burners cooktop.
It's an inexpensive hotel but always comfortable and clean with restaurants close by. I always stay there on my way through Idaho.
