The room was spacious and very clean. There was a basic but very welcome complimentary breakfast, and complimentary coffee available all day. Our receptionist was very helpful and provided good information about nearby restaurants, which we explored for our meals.

We had a large room with free wifi, the beds were comfortable and there was a back door out to the communal grassed area where there was a large firepit which was lit in the evening so that you could sit around and meet fellow guests which was nice. Continental breakfast was good and parking outside door. There were eating places not too far away.

Nestled on 4 landscaped acres with gardens and a winding brook in Manchester, Vermont, this historic bed and breakfast offers unique guestrooms with modern comforts as well as relaxing facilities. Breakfast was simple but excellent quality. Room was a good size and very comfortable. There was a thunderstorm the day we arrived which took out half the power in the town but the staff were very helpful changing our dinner reservation to a restaurant that had power. Manchester is a delightful place which is well worth a visit.
