You book a cheap tent with full board and get welcome drinks, hot towels and overall luxury lodge treatment. For me this was the best price/value in 5 weeks East Africa.

Just outside QENP, ideally situated in a very quite garden we stayed 2 nights at the homestay. Great hospitality and a warm welcome! Facilities where great, wifi working, hot water and a great garden to relax, but above all, a very friendly staff. A good initiative to support the orphanage!

The place was beautifully located in wild nature near a lake. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and made us feel at home. The animals (both monkeys and dogs) added a special feeling to the place as well.

Songbird Safari Lodge & Campsite features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Katunguru. Exceptional experience at songbird safari lodge. The location, where elephants walk close and even through (!) and where other animals can be seen in the garden at night, is totally awesome. Everybody there (Goritta, Anington, Mbabazi) is so helpful for any service, wishing to make all at the best. The accommodation and the meals (with great ceremonial from Mbabazi) are wonderful. More than highly recommended !

Located in Bushenyi, Buffalo Safari Lodge features a garden, terrace, shared lounge, and free WiFi. Among the various facilities are a bar and a restaurant. The cottages are very clean and spacious. Together with the pool and sitting area it really is a fantastic place to stay. The staff is super friendly and the food was the best we have had in Uganda.

With Queen Elizabeth National Park reachable in 8.5 km, Tembo Safari Lodge offers accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. It was an outstanding experience. The rooms were huge, very nicely decorated, with beautiful view on Kazinga channel, the staff was very friendly, amazingly helpful and really cared about us. The helped us to organize the boat experience, and also sent back my glasses that I left in the room. The food was delicious. It was our best stay in Uganda. This is a place with a soul, where you feel alway welcomed.
