It is beautifully designed and set right at the foothills of the mountains so had a great feel to it. The breakfast is also definitely worth it. Most importantly, the owner went above and beyond to help us when we got into a spot of trouble so we felt very taken care of and appreciated that! Would recommend friends stay here.

Location a little bit off Xincheng centrum or Hualien, but near the entry of Taroko (10 minutes by car). Very nice and comfortable room, outlook to the garden and mountains. You can hear trains as a rail is nearby. But no problem during the night. Parking was easy, enough space for all quests. Breakfast was very good, varied every day. Host was very nice and helpful.

I don’t think there are enough words to describe our experience at George Coffee Homestay. It’s a beautiful location in the heart of Taroko, perfect if you want to go visit the national park. The hosts are just the most welcoming and warmest people I’ve ever met. They make you feel like home right away and truly go the extra mile to make sure you having a great time by recommending places to eat, trails, and things to visit. They were so kind and though this was not part of their responsibility, they’ve taken time to introduce us to the town, culture of Taroko people, history, traditions and a little bit of their beautiful and unique family story. We finished the night by making our own lucky bracelets which I personally loved and the highlight of the night was them playing a song that Boya wrote to Lisa about their love story. The room is super nice and big, cozy and very clean. The breakfast was delicious every morning and the best part if of course drinking their own coffee. If you’re looking for a place in Taroko, you don’t want to miss out on George Homestay! :)

Hualien Taroko Mountain Dream B&B is located in Hualien, only a 5-minute walk from Taroko National Park. All rooms here will offer beautiful mountain views. Free WiFi access is available. The entire building is simple, spacious and elegant. Our Japanese futon style room is spacious, quiet and comfortable. Bathroom is very spacious too. The host served their home-made yogurt every morning which was very yummy. The breakfast was fresh and filing, wonderful for fueling our day of hiking in the park. The host couple is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is great too. Very close to the park as well as to nearby towns for food and shopping. We loved this place and will go back again.

Overlooking Pacific Ocean and Taroko Valley, Li Wu Zuo Cun B&B offers accommodation with free Wi-Fi access in Hualien. It features a large garden. Rooms here are all air-conditioned. Overall excellent. Everyone was professional yet accommodating, and we were given lifts to and from Xincheng station. Host spoke great English which was helpful. The local bus routes and walking trails were explained to us so getting around was easy. Amazing views of the mountains from the balcony. Room was spacious and clean, and delicious breakfasts.

Offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding greenery, Silks Place Taroko Hotel is located within the Taroko National Park in Hualien County. Very comfortable stay. Amazing facilities from the pools to the kids area. Staff was very helpful.
