Julie, Sione and their staff at House of Tonga were amazing! The service they provided was amazing, they were friendly, very helpful and made us feel at home. The girls at reception/office went the extra mile to help me with some urgent documents I needed printed/scanned to send back to Australia, they did this willingly, effortlessly and with a smile. The gentlemen maintaining outside and the deck area always greeted us with a smile same with the gentleman that was the security. The lady in the kitchen that served breakfast cooked us hot food when we walked in...friendly and service with a smile! Our room and everything inside was nice and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the bedding was clean and bright white...had a nice crispy clean feel which helped me dose off in to a deep sleep straight away. Julie/owner was amazing, she warmed up our dinner that I let get cold...even bought it back to our room. This is the kind of service we love...gave us a home away from home feel.. We will definitely be staying at House of Tonga again Highly recommended! Especially loved how clean House of Tonga is! The local hotels in the area should take a leaf from House of Tonga's book! The owner, a young Chinese guy, was very aimable and accomodating, even doing my laundry for free! And very helpful. The room and the bathroom were large and spacious. And the town center was only a short walk away.

Located in Makaunga in the Tongatapu Island region, Tukulolo Treehouses features a garden. With garden views, this accommodation features a balcony and a swimming pool. I traveled with co workers and my boyfriend and we all were so in love with the treehouses and the Paquette family. They are so welcoming to anyone and everyone and Ashley makes some of the best food on the island. The treehouses that Chris built are out of this world. You will be amazed. Their kids are incredible too. They also have the sweetest dogs and horses. My co-workers also said they would highly recommend staying here, as it is the best place on the island. My boyfriend and I were so sad to leave. I promise you’ll be sad to leave too!!

Offering an idyllic waterfront location, Seaview Lodge and Restaurant offers free WiFi and free bicycle hire to explore the area. The on-site restaurant serves international gourmet cuisine. Breakfast was very good. It’s advertised as free but that is the continental breakfast I believe. Ordered off the menu instead and it was delicious. Plus the setting and ambiance is really nice. Highly recommend! Also the bartender (I can’t recall his name unfortunately) is very helpful and makes sure you have everything you need. The owners/managers were very kind as well. Also, it is reasonably walkable to all the main spots like restaurants and bars on the Main Street.
