Mimi the hostel owner was absolutely fantastic. She has a lot of I formation written down for I dependently organising trips around the area. She is also extremely generous and I was able to have some of her home cooking! It was wonderful to meet her! The hostel is clean and cozy. Each bed has a light and plug point. I was able to store my bag after check out. It is conveniently located near the night market and train station. It is on the main road of Kanchanaburi so you can easily catch a songtheaw to the River Kwai bridge or bus station.

What was not to like in this little gem as I was visiting for 2 days/ nights. Staff were exceptionally friendly, my room was super clean & a nice size (Room 406) set on the level with a nice sun deck where I captured a glorious sunrise with a coffee. Breakfast was a lovely choice If you are looking for a nice hotel, a mere 5 min stroll to the bars/restaurants & only a 10 min stroll to the bridge over the River Kwai & War museum, then look no further. ATM only 500 yards away also A must stay if visiting Kanchanaburi

#We loved everything about this hotel. The gardens were absolutely beautiful and lovely fish ponds everywhere. Both the swimming pools were excellent. It's position right on the River Kwai was superb. The staff were extremely helpful in every possible way. Booking in a staff member accompanied us to our room and explained everythiing we needed to know which was extremely helpful and very thoughtful. You don't come across that very often. We thought the decor everywhere was extremely tasteful and homely.

The pool was excellent and overlooked the river. They have a well manicured garden which we enjoyed each morning with coffee from our balcony. The staff was very friendly, and helped us with transportation and sightseeing questions. Rooms were clean, the restaurant was outstanding!!! This place met all our needs and we would recommend to our friends and/or family. For $200 Baht the limo takes you to river Kwai and other attractions. Only about 8 minute trip into town!

We liked that the resort is located in beautiful, green and peaceful parkland with frontage to the River Kwai. Accommodation is set back away from the river, keeping the river scenery mainly unspoiled. Staff responded very quickly and politely when something was needed or had to be done. Cleanliness of the room was among the best I have experienced in Thailand. The room was cleaned daily and the beds made,

Very clean rooms. Nice common area with bus fridge and microwave and utensils for cooking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is great, right by the train station, war cemetery, death railway museum and many bars/restaurants. Also about 30 mins from River Kwai Bridge. In our experience it was better to stay near train station than bus station as much more to do around train station.

Simple ABF breakfast from 7-10am, ala carte buffet. Firm pillows upon request. Small but clean pool on 2nd floor. Close proximity to River Kwai train station, 7 Eleven ( open 24 hours ), Amazon Cafe & ATMS. Microwave, Fridge, basic plates and cutleries available. Excellent Location-come down at the River Kwai Train Station instead of Kanchanaburi Station ( 200 meter walk to Hotel )

It was in a beautiful setting overlooking the river Kwai.The decoration of the rooms were all wooden and authentic.The surrounding gardens were well kept and the rooms were clean and had everything you needed.The staff were fantastic they went over and above to help you with anything you wanted nothing was too much trouble.We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Quite a large hotel set in some lovely gardens on the banks of the River Kwai. Good sized room, helpful and friendly staff. We had two evening meals there and some of the best Thai cooking anywhere. Fairly standard menu but superbly cooked. Good sized swimming pool. The grounds are pleasant to walk around in the evening.

The Hotel is just off a very busy street, one that leads you straight down to the Bridge over the River Kwai area with its surrounding shops and markets. Pretty authentic Thai villas with very basic amenities, which is the whole point so we were happy to experience that. Price point accurately reflects the property.

Great location next to the river' and only a very short walk to the both wooden and metal bridges over the river Kwai. Fantastic local restaurant on the right hand side of the road as you come out of the side road from the hotel. Food is amazing and really cheap and locals use it to eat.

If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the nature, this is it! Staff at the resort was magnificent. Place was in the middle of jungle and close to river Kwai. Quite, small and cost resort. We feel on love with the place and Mr. Pom. All the burgers were really good and tasty 😋

Breakfast was good. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. One turn out the hotel exit placed us on the road to the Bridge over the River Kwai. It's walkable for healthy walkers and Tuk Tuks are readily available for those who need them. Laundry assistance worked well.

the hotel is set between the main train station and river kwai bridge, there r some shops/cafe/restaurant/pub n bars just around the corner. room is huge and clean, staff is very helpful even she speaks minimum English she would try with a translator on her phone

The hotel is located at a very peaceful bank of Khwae Yai River, with a wonderful evening and morning view of River Kwai Bridge. The hotel team's service is wonderful. Room is clean and spacious. Breakfast is alright, being the Thai food are more delicious.

Beautyful resort ,Hotspring pool with serene lakeview ,very well maintained trekking path to mon village,trekking path connected to River Kwai Jungle Raft Floating Hotel Free water sports at the site is a plus . Beautiful sunset at the restaurant area.

Beautiful, small-scale, stylish hotel. Rooms have a beautiful view. Good breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Nice swimming pool on the top floor. Location is about a ten minute walk from the station near the bridge over the River Kwai.

This is a hidden gem!! The Float House River Kwai is the most beautiful place i have ever been. Everything is in sync. The surroundings, the resort, the staff! Just everything. A must do, when travveling to Thailand🇹🇭

Great location near River Kwai bridge and other historical places . Pool was nice bonus after day of site seeing . Helpful staff . Walkable to good restaurants. Hotel is very nice . Price/ value was excellent .
