This charming family-owned manor is located 1 km from the city centre of the coastal village Borgholm on the island of Öland. Both WiFi and private parking are free. The hosts were both helpful and friendly, providing guidance on places to visit and checking in on us, the rooms were very spacious and clean and the location was just outside of the Centre and very peaceful.

This traditional, countryside hotel is in the Öland village of Kastlösa, 200 metres from Stora Alvaret’s limestone plain, a World Heritage site. It provides 2 free outdoor pools and a large garden. We had a nice hotel room in what seem a family holiday park. The bathroom was nice as well. Everything spotlessly clean. We had a basic breakfast with sorts of bread, meat (cold), cheese, egg (boiled), jams, fruits, yoghurt, cereals, juices, selection of coffee and tea,… In the evening we had diner, both dinners were tasty and not that expensive keeping Swedish pricing in mind. There is a lovely pool.

This hotel is centrally located by the main square in the coastal town of Borgholm, only 1.5 km from the historical Borgholm Castle. great stay for a visit to Öland and Borgholm. Excellent food in the restaurant, unexpectedly good and high level cuisine and very good service, great and comprehensive wine list. Quiet location at the centre of Borgholm.
