In a quiet and scenic location at 1,200 metres above sea level, Hotel-Restaurant Siesta Balea is located in Piscul Negru on the Transfagarasan National Road. The bed was comfortable, the food was good. Everything was clean.

Hotel Posada Vidraru is set 200 metres from the Vidraru Dam on Arges River, and features a restaurant with Romanian and international cuisine. Rooms come with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.... We liked the beds, the location (amazing lake). The pool and sauna were very nice, not crowded at all (2-3 couples at all times), very spacious, with an amazing view (the lake, of course). The pool and sauna are included in the price of the room, while the massage is not. The pool is open from around 8 or 9 AM until 9 PM, so there is plenty of time to visit it. We stayed in a double room with twin beds. We had the usual commodities: slippers, bathrobes, clean towels replaced every day, a kettle, minibar with water and soda. The staff was nice, the food was tasty. There are many activities if you decide to stay in the hotel - pool table, darts, air hockey, playground for children. We also took a boat ride.

Such a quiet and unique location off the Transfagarasan road - which is a great place to see some European Brown Bears. Staff were lovely and friendly (especially the dogs) - the room was on the smaller side, but super comfortable and well designed - the bathroom especially! We also had a lovely balcony overlooking the forest.

Surrounded by the lush garden, Casa Domneasca is located in the center of Curtea de Argeș. It offers an on-site restaurant serving international dishes, an indoor swimming pool and a gym. Very nice room and overall decor. Eating dinner and breakfast on the hotel's porch was great.

Set within the Fagaras mountain range of the Carpathians, Piscul Negru Hotel is situated on the famous Transfagarasan Road. Location in the heart of the Transfarahashan, an ideal place for an overnight break or for exploring the beautiful trail. Staff was great and breakfast is great value for money. Also was very helpful and honest to send a forgotten item all the way to Bucharest. Highly recommend!

„Posada“ viešbučio kompleksas įsikūręs Curtea de Arges, šalia Meistro Manole vienuolyno. 2008 metais jis buvo visiškai atnaujintas. Nice town hotel, it is renovated with an interesting interior design. The meals was good, room was clean and the stuff was very welcomimg. The fitness room was nice, everything was new.
